Government has shown that it cannot stop the very things your comic depicted, no matter how much power they're given.
But an absence of basic governance has proven these things to flourish. You only have to look at Somalia, probably the most freest nation on the world, to attest to that.

There is a difference between wanting as much economic, political and social freedom as possible and still have a regulatory body, and being a proponent of a plutocratic/anocratic state which is what you seem to propose.

And to say that I want human trafficking just because I don't believe a single entity should have unlimited power over a piece of land would be like me saying that you want millions of people to get slaughtered because you want a government.
But I'm not wrong though. Without at least a semblance of regulation the possibility of a human trafficking market will open up. That is after all, what the free market does best.

I'm really beginning to notice these patterns of strawman amongst voluntaryists. "NO MADDA WHAD THE GUBMENT DUS DER WILL ALWAYS BE MUHDA AND RAYP." Yeah, no shit. I fail to see how that warrants abolition though.

I can understand your wanting a semblance of order, but there are nonviolent, voluntary ways of accomplishing that that do not involve a state.
That is a pipe dream at best.

Whereas The Enclave were essentially just the mustache twirling bad guys that Bethesda purposefully wanted you to dislike.
Well in Bethesda's defense, this is the same people from Fallout 2 who wanted to gas the whole planet and wipe out like 99% of the population because they were "mutated". So naturally they're gonna be just as bad in Fallout 2 as they are in 3. Need I remind you they just slaughtered a whole vault in Fallout 2.

People seem to forget that Obsidian were the ones that made those guys insanely evil, not Bethesda.
Um, what?

Fallout 2 was developed by Black Isle Studios, not Obsidian.
Yeah, which shut down and they moved over to Obsidian. Guys that made the first 2 Fallout's made NV.
I genuinely cannot find evidence for this assertion anywhere.
You really don't think the guys who made the first two fallouts aren't the ones who made NV?

They added a lot of cut content from  2 like the talking toaster, and a lot of the Van Burn stuff (Caesar's Legion) made it in NV. A number of other things were plans for the earlier game.

Obviously not all of them, but a few of the higher up devs did.

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas_developers

You can find some more info there if you want.
>New Vegas devs

Yeah, I'm completely aware Obsidian developed NV. That doesn't provide any evidence as to how they developed or put in creative input into Fallout 1 or 2.

And what about the 'freedom' of the victim? They obviously wouldn't 'want' to be raped. That's not freedom.
They have the freedom to kill their attacker.

See, that's what true freedom is. Where everybody does whatever they want.
That's what I'm for.

Wow this isn't a strawman piece of garbage at all.
Yeah you're right. It's satire.

Look, I'm all for more economic and social freedom. But this sentiment of absolutely no semblance of government whatsoever, is well, retarded to put it lightly. Basic governance is essential for society to operate. I know this raises a lot of anarcho capitalist heckles here, but it's a fact.

They also have to compete with the predicted SNP landslide and the possibility of a Labour/SNP coalition though (absolutelydisgusting.webm). But yes, this is good news.

Mexico is one of the most corrupt places on Earth, but you can actually do whatever the fuck you want there. Corruption does not exactly correlate with oppressive governments.

HOO BOI WE'VE NEVER HAD THIS THREAD BEFORE

Look, NV is superior in just about every department, with the exception of maybe the setting. That's not to say F3 doesn't have its moments, it just isn't a very good Fallout game. The problem with Bethesda is that they value style over substance. They can't build moral ambiguity for shit, and that's all the more evident when you look into how they've designed the multiple factions within not just F3, but Skyrim as well.

In F3 you had the option of like what, two warring factions? It was basically a choice between shit, and less shit. The Brotherhood Of Stale was just "there." I'm not really sure what their angle was in the game tbh. Whereas The Enclave were essentially just the mustache twirling bad guys that Bethesda purposefully wanted you to dislike.

In NV, there are myriad different factions with opposing viewpoints and values. There's no black and white "good guys and bad guys" option. Obsidian leaves it up to the player to decide which faction aligns with their ideals, and how it will effect the various different endings to the game. That's what makes NV a great post apocalyptic RPG, and a fantastic Fallout game.

She was the trans woman right? Idk if I'm using the right pronouns but someone told me she was.

Eh, she was alright. Intelligent and witty. I disagreed with her on a lot of issues due to her flagrant feminism but I wouldn't hold it against her. I'd probably consider her the biggest SJW on B.net with the exception of Seggi and Charlie. I don't think she was entirely mentally stable either, so I hope she's alright in that regard.

It's not an argument. I am merely stating my views and why they are this way. They are not based on research besides my own experiences and conclusions, and they do not have any empirical evidence (that I am aware of due to lack of research)

I'm sorry but, is this supposed to be a viable argument?

"I'm choosing this stance because I can't be arsed doing research and backing my argument up with empirical evidence" is basically what you just said minus the fluff.
So really, you're in absolutely no position to call out Meta and label his opinions as 'stupid' when he's provided substantiated evidence and reasoning, and you've just basically voiced your perceptions (which is an anecdotal fallacy by the way).

5482
I just decided to side with the Greek position, because I do see that the new government has a fair chance of turning the country to the better for inside of Greece. I don't feel enough energy nor I have time to spend time and looking into solid evidence to back up the decisions that are currently being made, nor I think it's viable since I don't know much about economics to begin with.

But I fail to see how turning this into Top Trumps: Dictator edition is going to solve anything.

Yeah, and just right there bow to Germany's wishes and accept whatever measures it wants to take for its own benefit. That's a great idea.

Talk about biting the hand that feeds you, I fully expect a nice resounding 'Fuck you' from the krauts <_<
What the fuck are you talking about?

Greece have been unapologetically pushing the boat out for the past 5 years now, with half of the Eurozone busting its ass just to keep them afloat. May I remind you of that crafty little deal Greece made with Goldman Sachs back in 2010? It's pretty evident Greece have been doing whatever they fucking please for a while now, so Germany withdrawing funding is probably not going to change their minds at this point.

If anyone's bowing to wishes and demands here, it's probably Germany if anything. Stay biased though.

5485
I'm surprised Germany actually still puts up with Greece.
