Adamantium can withstand the full brunt of a nuclear bomb, which is said to be several times hotter than the Sun. Lightsabers are essentially just solidified plasma. Now, I'm no physicist, but from what I've read briefly, plasma isn't as potent as a nuclear bomb or the Sun in regards to temperature, so I can't imagine it being particularly abrasive to Adamantium.

no, but the capabilities of the jedi or sith who wield the lightsaber can galvanize its strength. there are very few figures in the star wars universe who could do it, but i think it could be done, for adamantium anyway. vibranium is much tougher.
What do you mean galvanize? I've never actually heard a Jedi or Sith use a lightsaber as a conduit outside the EU, which is no longer canon. It's an oversized, overheated glowstick, dude. It's not a wand.
