This is probably b8, but on the off chance it isn't, I'll bite. The main difference between Gamergate and Gamerghazi/Antigamergate or whatever the opposition likes to be called is that we have actual evidence of collusion, impropriety and a coincided effort to slander and libel the gaming culture within the gaming press. All you guys have is tenuous cases of "harassment," and by harassment I mean pathetic rogue twitter accounts that are just the typical case of your everyday average troll. Brianna Wu's harasser in particular seemed oddly specific what with their name being "DeathToBrianna" and had virtually no ties to Gamergate. What was originally "hey you guys can't do this in journalism, it's ethically dubious" got misconstrued as "OMG SEXISM AND MUH SOJINY" because of these false correlations between Gamergate and female harassment. It's a classic example of how both the media and progressiveness will try to find any link, regardless of how unsubstantiated it may be, between real world examples and their half baked rhetoric.

Taxing people who make $20,000 a year the same as the people who make $2,000,000 a year is just laughable. Take an economics class in college or something, or do some research. Holy shit this is basic stuff.

People making 20k need every fucking penny they earn. Someone making 2m wont feel it as much, even though the total is more.
So it'd be no different from how it is now, people will still save and earn up what they need. Also you imply people making 2 million a year won't need every penny either, when to earn that you'd likely be running a business that needs all the money it can to sustain itself. In the end both a 20k salary and 2 million salary have the same problems.

part of me wants to think like this, because of my firsthand experience with sexual harassment in public school.
this is why dress codes shouldnt be a thing and appropriate dress should be evaluated case by case. many yoga pant/leggings/jeggings/whatever are fine like this, but a lot of them are really form fitting or translucent, and like it or not, that sort of thing DOES distract hormonal adolescents. my school had a light policy about these things (only leggings were banned, and that was at the end of my schooling) and we had a pretty serious sexual harassment problem. then again, its also a Title I school, so thats probably part of it, but all the same, i think its best for the girls that they avoid wearing revealing/form fitting clothing without doing something to cover it up (like this girl did with her shirt.) in the same vein, guys shouldnt be allowed to wear compression shorts outside of an athletic competition. you just cant trust teenagers to act rational when it comes to sexuality.

censorship is fucking stupid, let them wear whatever they want as long as they arent half naked. It's not so much sexual titillation as it is being within a professional working environment. Part of the purpose of school is to instill students with the tools and attitudes towards preparing for the workplace. Wearing yoga pants to school is just as uncouth as wearing sweatpants and a t shirt that hasn't been washed in a week to your job. It doesn't posit the image that you're prepared to work your hardest.
