1. Don't exaggerate your qualifications or lie about yourself. Employers have a great bullshit detector and even if they don't, will look into your background to see if you're telling porkies.
2. Be confident. It's sounds cheesy and cliched, but it's pretty much the key. You could have all of the qualifications in the world and employers still wouldn't hire you if you come off as an awkward aspie that can't even make basic eye contact.
3. Research the company beforehand. You don't have to have an extensive list of the entire company's history in the back of your head, but it helps to know a bit about the organisation you could potentially be working for, and it shows that you're actually interested and committed.
4. Suit up and boot up. Don't come to an interview in skinny jeans, high tops and a hoodie (I've actually seen people do this in group interviews). You're not expected to wear a three piece or something, but a shirt (a tie if you want but it's not essential), smart trousers and shoes is absolutely paramount. You want to look smart and dedicated for the job you're enrolling into.

Agreed.
Speaking as someone who used to work in the fast food industry, as tedious, tiring and stressful as it was, there was virtually no skill involved with the exception of being able to concentrate for extended periods of time. It's certainly not worth £8/whatever it is in burgerclap money an hour.
could you clarify what you mean?
In a thread I was just in you said "I'm opposed to min wage". So what do you mean? If not it, then what?
I'm opposed to artificially manipulating the minimum wage, and I'm supportive of allowing the market to fixing wage rates. Basic fast food occupations do not require a significant amount of skill besides being able to stay on your feet, and therefore, do not deserve exuberant amounts of compensation. In an idyllic world I'd like to see the minimum wage scrapped like the Scandinavian countries have done, but I know that's impractical given the controversy surrounding minimum wage, so I will support maintaining labour laws and regulations as they currently are.

I just saw the new trailer.
How the FUCK could they fucking do that? Just spoiling the entire fucking movie.
Whoever made that decision should be fired. The plot twists were about the only thing I was looking forward to. Even the CGI is bad and Emilia Clarke just does not feel like Sarah Connor...
They should be fired and fucking blacklisted. Seriously, that could have been a HUGE moment for the Terminator movie. What, did the producers decide that people weren't going to see the movie anyways and said, "Fuck it"?
And shutup, Khalessi is best Sarah Connor. Even Linda Hamilton cannot hold a candle to Daenerys Stormborn, of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of Meereen, Queen of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons.
Yeah Idk, I agree with Gladiator. I'm not really getting those Sarah Connor vibes from her. Every time I see her in the trailer I keep envisioning that scene where Jason Mamoa is pounding her ass.
>was being sarcastic
Sarah looks like a fucking teenager in this movie and only looks "brave" because she's wearing black outfits, waves guns around and has a constant scowl on her face.
oh

Where were you when the Terminator franchise was kill?
Didn't Salvation already do that?
I actually liked it for what it was and what it attempted to do; veer away from the tired old cat and mouse plotline the last three movies had. Sure, it wasn't a great Terminator movie, but at least it was a serviceable action movie, and it didn't attempt to butcher T1 and T2 like this monstrosity is doing.

Oh shit, this actually looks surprisingly good. Not much of a fan of the Marvel stuff, but this? A superhero movie not marketed at 10 year olds? Would consider watching.
Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron are hardly for 10 year olds.
While Winter Soldier was a bit better than the others, I still find it hard to think of them as anything other than movies aimed at a much younger audience. There's hardly any serious themes that require much thought, it's always black/white, the movies are extremely predictable, the violence is the kind that has been carefully constructed as to not upset anyone and the ever prevalent little quirks and jokes undermine any serious tone the movies could have.
While saying that they're all aimed at 10 year olds was a bit too harsh, I can't consider any of them as actually serious or adult movies.
This is some dumb bullshit, Flee.
>serious and adult movies
lmfao
My sincerest apologies for not liking the light hearted Marvel superhero movies because I felt that they were rather childish, unnecessarily quirky and both extremely shallow and predictable, and that I would've much prefered the movies if they were a bit more serious.
See this is my point, that's how comic books are. If you don't like it they CLEARLY aren't for you, and you are contributing to an over saturation of edgy shit that a lot of people don't want.
Um, the TDK franchise is worth billions dude, and despite Watchmen being kinda shitty it grossed a healthy 50 mil on its opening weekend. There is definitely a market for edgy grimdark iterations of comic book adaptations. Even if you do have a grievance with them, you can't really deny their success.
Their success is mostly based around people who don't like comics in the first place, which is my point.
ALSO HOW BTFO ARE YOU FURY ROAD IS RATED R?? BITCH
I like comics and I loved Nolan's trilogy with the exception of TDKR after the first 15 minutes. Not to mention there were grimdark comics before there was grimdark capeshit. There's clearly two different markets operating here. The people who like edgy grit, and the people who like campy comics. Simple economics brochacho.

>all these degenerates now jumping on the hype train despite having doubts when the teaser came out
fuck off. I always had hope with jew jew abrams.
Probably because the first teaser showed a bunch of nothing and didn't get people hyped up. Not even seeing the Falcon doing loop-di-loops to the old Star Wars theme got me hyped.
Now that we actually have a hint of what's going down, NOW I'm excited.
I'm not sure what you were expecting. Clue's in the name of "teaser trailer."

I'm still remaining apprehensive. Hack Snyder is particularly good at marketing his movies really well. Just take a look at The Watchmen and MoS trailers. Executing the actual movies however, is a different story.
Man of Steel was alright
Yeah I know, it was just that. Alright. When I first watched it I thought it was pretty good, but after a few more viewings it actually became boring. Visually it's amazing, but in terms of actual drama and tension it's practically barren. In the end, I didn't care for Superman during his fight with Zod, because there had been no character development beforehand.

I'm wondering if that's Hoth in the first picture...but then you'd have to ask why they'd want to go to that frozen wasteland. Unless the leader of the First Order just wants to visit places Vader has in the past.
Remember, the Empire destroyed the Rebel Base back in ESB. It makes sense they would have remnants of an outpost there.

Interesting. I would disagree with Kylo being a wannabe Sith though. In the trailer he definitely seems to be exemplifying some sort of force ability. I think the reason why his lightsaber is so half assed is because the knowledge and ability to construct lightsabers was lost with Darth Vader and Luke, what with him being the last Jedi and all.

No. Not all cultures are inherently equal or morally just. A healthy penchant of nationalism is good for society, so long as it's kept in check.

Heath Ledger's Joker is the best Joker. They should have gone for something similar.
he was the best one but I still feel like it wasn't joker.
How?
because the joker in the comics and cartoons is actually really silly, sinister, random and very very psychotic. I don't feel like Heath ledgers joker was really funny enough. He just seemed like another psycho who liked doing what he was doing. And that's like literally every psycho villain ever. He just didn't feel like that crazy wacky maniac ive read about. What do you think?
Yeah, and Batman isn't supposed to have a tank called the 'Tumbler' either. Does that render his status as Batman inert too? Point is, movies deviate from the source material all the time. "NOT MUH JOKER" isn't a valid criticism.
