Following/trailing missions
Literally all they exist for is exposition, but because the devs actually have to make a game they disguise it as 'gameplay'. 518

Make sure you get on top of crafting gear fairly quickly, especially on higher difficulties. Starter gear only lasts for a couple quests before the game starts punishing you for it.

It's serviceable. Improved upon SoM in many ways, but also took a couple steps back.
Siege battles are one hit wonders. Fun after a while but the novelty wears off fairly quickly. Besides Orc dialogue they're all p much the same formula. Capture zones, kill warchiefs, then confront the overlord. Campaign is a bit stale. Talion is still a cardboard cut out, so don't expect overt characterisation this time round. Celembrimbor is like a fucking broken record throughout the game, constantly harping on about this fucking Palanthir which is somehow critical for the fight against Sauron for whatever reason. Nemesis system is still peng. They've added a couple new features but I wouldn't say it's wholly different from Mordor's nemesis system. Fun game, but it's bogged down by a lot of weird and lacklustre features. Not worth a AAA price tag, that's for sure. 521

I saw Verbatim in a thread on Sep7 yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him online and congratulated him on shitposting last weekend, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for bowlcut selfies.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “Gonnagivemeanovationnow? huh? huh?” and closing his browser in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my posting, and I heard him typing as I exited the thread. When I came to submit my posts up front I saw him trying to walk out the thread with like fifteen quote chains. The mod at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Hey fag you need to spaz out to all those replies first.” At first he kept pretending to be busy and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the reply box. When she took one of the quotes and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any natalist 'infetterence',” and then turned around and winked at me. I don't even think that's a word. After she scanned each post and put them in his inbox and started to say how much of a faggot he was, he kept interrupting her by typing out sentences in lower case really loudly. 522

Gaming / Re: Who's playing EAFront 2?« on: November 21, 2017, 03:32:17 PM »
Tbh the game's dreadfully unbalanced even without starcards. Galactic Assault attacking forces are drastically disadvantaged with team lives. Most of my matches end within 5 mins without even getting past the first round. Nobody plays officer because it's a pathetically weak class, nullifying the aspect of team play. Rounds inevitably just devolve into sentry spam because heavy is the only viable class to play unless you're an assault jacked on rare star cards.
I also can't seem to get a game without joining during the last half a minute of the round either. Why I thought this was a smart purchase is beyond me. 524

Plus we had a legalised, approved-by-parliament election on it. Both sides could have handled this way better through negotiations, but neither wanted to hear the other's grievances and concerns. It was a clusterfuck of a political situation from top to bottom. Not to mention that most European countries would not have officially recognised Catalonia as a sovereign nation. If you could have 25% more of your own money, wouldn't you secede? It's always about fucking money, isn't it? They supposedly contribute 1/5 of Spain's economy while making 16 percent of the total population. They just wanna put it back in their fat wallets.I feel like Catalonia fucked themselves over a bit. They were basically their own nation minus a few things, and now they're not going to get that at all. They don't want to pay taxes to Madrid. They aren't ethnic Spanish so they should have the right to decide for their future. 530

Not giving Spain a free pass with how they've handled the situation but the Catalonian government had to have expected some sort of backlash to this. You don't autistically screech your way to independence and expect your neighbouring allies to just buck up and accept it. 531

Steve is based. Did nothing but worship the ground that thot walked on and she repays him through sheer cuckery just because he wasn't booty tickled enough over Barb's death.
Can we also all agree that the California characters are literally just there to create hamfisted tension between the OG cast. Like, what the fuck is the point in their story arc's. 536

Was my fav game of 2015.
Ignore the people that whine about combat because it isn't Arkham "press two buttons to destroy waves of enemies" City. It's more than fine. The main campaign is easily like 70 hours on the lower difficulties, excluding side quests. The Polish folklore it's based on also offers a refreshing change to the saturated Tolkien tier fantasy games right now. Love it or hate it, but you can't deny the devs put in an inhuman amount of effort into the game. |
