no, but there is something wrong with a protagonist who has an explicit backstory
le "i want a dialogue option where NPCs telepathically read your mind whilst your character stands there like a Louis Theroux tier autist" maymay. There's literally nothing wrong with a voiced PC with a backstory. The only thing that bothers me is what looks like a restricted dialogue wheel. The only argument against it is "not muh fallout" at this point.

The bobbleheads are more than likely just an exp bonus to the skills. We've yet to see an actual demonstration of the RPG features. What matters is that skills are definitely going to be in the game.

GRRM has explicitly stated that Jon is one of the five or so characters that ASOIAF revolves around. So if Kit isn't coming back, this either tells me that the showrunners are disregarding an integral character to the story (unlikely), or they're getting a different actor to play the character reborn as whatever it is GRRM has in mind. Either way, I think Jon as a character is coming back, just in a completely different way as to what he was before (possibly Night's King or a White Walker).
