How many states do you think Trump will take lads?
Would 22-23 be a safe bet?

Pretty bored with the MCU tbh.
I mean, I'll see the Infinity War films just to see the whole thing through, but I'm not really interested in the solo films any more. 1295

Not an American history expert but I'm pretty sure the Confederacy was fighting for more than "muh slavery" seeing as how the average soldier didn't own a solitary slave.

Serious / Re: So what's going on with Brexit?« on: November 06, 2016, 02:38:10 PM »
The High Court ruled that Parliament should vote on when to trigger Article 50 and the negotiation process with the EU.
It could potentially result in several bureaucratic delays, but a full overturn of Brexit seems unlikely. 1297

Serious / Re: Are transwomen a type of man?« on: November 04, 2016, 11:16:33 PM »
Biologically, yeah. No amount of sex changes are going to change your XY chromosomes.
But that doesn't necessarily mean we should abdicate the gender they identify with. If they truly, positively identify as a female then society should recognise them as female. Personally trans issues don't really interest me all that much, and I think the left has overblown the topic to the point where no one wants to touch it with a ten foot bargepole, but if they want to identify with the gender they were not assigned with at birth that's fine, just don't act like a special snowflake tumblrina about it. 1299

Tried to watch the first episode of Season 3, couldn't tolerate the palpable social commentary.
Her did a much better, and more subtle job of the whole social media invading our lives concept, and didn't put so much emphasis on placing it in the foreground. 1301

Not surprising. The referendum wasn't legally binding.
Remoaners shouldn't get their hopes up though. Majority of MPs wanted to stay in the EU true, but it'd be political suicide to throw most of their constituents under the bus. 1305

Emotion is an integral part of writing, so it makes sense your lecturer would require you to incorporate a degree of emotional rhetoric in your work. 1309

I think most people would be willing to forgive their fuck ups had they not had the audacity to slap a AAA price tag on an indie game worth half that.
No idea what went on in the development process but if Sony really was this big overbearing bully they obviously had no problem with it when they were shilling it to the masses and lying through their teeth about the features. 1311

I just don't really see a purpose for his return at all. It seems like they're basing out of Dragonstone this season, the seat of House Baratheon. That doesn't make much sense. Why would Dany want another competitor to the throne, assuming she even believes in his heritage? The Lannisters are pretty much fucked anyway. They've turned nearly all of Westeros against them in the span of half a season which is spearheaded by a borderline insane Targaryen with dragons, vikings, and eastern armies. 1317
