One of the primary tenets of neoconservatism is utilizing military and interventionist means on foreign soil, yes. However, I take issue with how Door characterized it, as if neocons are always looking for tenuous excuses to invade countries and spread imperialism. Some neoconservatives like myself and Douglas Murray advocate the military for humanitarian purposes and ensuring potentially hostile foreign entities are kept in check. Some good examples include Kosovo and Sierra Leonne. I can understand why neocon is basically used as a pejorative nowadays post Iraq, but I would argue you can have good neocon policies provided you have a planned, long term and substantial exit strategy which Bush patently didn't have.
