itt: "boy am i glad these ANIMALS did this because it enforces my racist notions"
"i am more concerned about vague racism on a backwater spin off a video game forum than I am of a mentally handicapped boy being sadistically tortured"
glad to know your priorities fampai. now please get back to sapphire so you can continue to rim your buttbro Harlow.
it's less "vague" and more "blatant" racism and hatemongering that's been going on in this backwater forum WAY before this shit happened. i care about what happened but it's gross to see people jumping at the opportunity to reinforce their own racist notions in the face of a tragedy like chicago.
I'd rather have a community that supports the notion of a free marketplace of ideas (including racist sentiments) than not have one at all. You also have a very weird perception of this place. There are plenty of left leaning users here. Kupo, LC, Flee, Charlie, Ember, Gats, challenger on certain issues, Luci, and Icy. There's probably plenty more that don't feel like frequenting their opinions in serious. Even most of the conservative users are mostly just ironic posting half the time. Just because they don't subscribe to every little facet of your Sapphire™ approved Marxist dogma does not mean we don't have a diverse range of opinions here, both on the left and the right. So be buttblasted by a handful racist comments all you want, that doesn't mean you get to write off an entire community as "/pol/-lite", especially seeing as you rarely even post here anyway.

"Weegie is a slang term referring to people from Glasgow in Scotland, which is used as a noun or adjective. It is a contraction of the word Glaswegian, referring to people from Glasgow."

Everyone has moments where they loose their cool, some of them short, others extended. For the most part he's an alright person to talk to (when he's not throwing around insults like it's an episode of South Park). I think the ban and its length is justified, it'll give us and him a break from any possible tension.
Can we just permaban this petulant little child yet? It's clear he isn't adding anything to the discussions here.
He used to be (somewhat) capable of constructive discussion but for the past few months now he's really gone full stinkposting. It's not even periodic moments any more. It's at a point of constant hostile shitposting whenever any one says something he mildly disagrees with. Maybe he simmers down after his ban tenure but I'm not expecting any big changes. He's been banned before and it hasn't really affected his behaviour. I don't want to see huge quote chains of threats and insults every time I click on a thread, it's just an eyesore at this point.

Not an economist but it seems kind of silly to have a currency system where if one country tanks then it brings down everyone else using it.

Seems like your only choices are to work for the Ministry or own an owl shop on diagon alley.
Like how are you supposed to make any wizard coin? There are no menial labor jobs thanks to magic, and even then you are competing against free house elf slave labour.
In fact, shouldn't magic render the Wizarding World into a post scarcity economy? Why would the Weasleys be dirt poor then?
Rowling sort this out right this instance.

Find it funny how the same people who would lambaste Alex Jones for this /pol/ tier conspiracy meme are now engaging in the exact same conjectural behaviour.
"The Russians did it" is the new "my dog ate my homework".

Just found out about his death. He overdosed while driving a car absolutely spannered.
Whatever sympathy I have left for him is gone. Fucking degenerate could've taken someone with him.

Details on the death?
Not sure yet. The obituary in my area doesn't say anything on the details of the death, and none of my close friends know either.
My best bet would probably be drugs seeing as how he turned into a bit of a degenerate.
Would've been one of my first thoughts too. What're your thoughts on the thing? Good riddance or that odd form of pity?
Can't say I feel anything but mild bewilderment seeing as how he's the second person I knew personally that died outside my immediate family. The guy was a borderline sociopath that was never gonna contribute anything substantial to society, so part of me feels somewhat glad in that aspect, but I have never wished for his death despite what he put me through.
Odd kinda pity then I guess. I know the feeling. What kind of trouble did he give? Verbal shit or physical?
A combination of both, I guess. It was a weird kind of relationship because we were somewhat "buddies" at one point, but because of his erratic behaviour he would turn into this abusive shithead at a whim, which he then started to enjoy over friendship, if he even understood the concept. Needless to say he dropped out halfway through high school, and I never heard from him again until now.

Prisoner of Azkaban is when the series when from pretty solid to GOAT tier. Deathly shallows one was by far the worst but part 2 is incredible
I don't get the hate for DH pt 1. It's actually pretty comfy if you're not going in expecting ebin wizard battles for 90 odd minutes.

Got the OnePlus3T for Christmas, pretty balling thus far.
Nice, didn't know you had one. You running Oxygen?
According to my phone details I am running 3.5.4. I'm not sure if that's good or not.
