I'll do some books for Psychology reading tomorrow, but I think it might be a good idea to add in some religious texts for the religion section.
Hell, even a tldr version of the books would be better than none <.< 12483

Actually that's exactly why they died, because they weren't given the care they needed quickly enough. That's not to say the lack of care for veterans in the states isn't utterly appalling, but it's a similar problem for different demographics. 12496

Hmm, I'd probably say that's to do with the timing of the revelations. IIRC the shit that stalin did didn't become mainstream knowledge until the end of the USSR, about 40 years after the world found out what the Nazis did. That's a long time to set down a term of reference for being the worst people on the planet. Or it's the work of the zionist media oy vey. But yeah, the Commies were far worse than the Nazis if you go by body count. It's something like 10 million to 100 million off the top of my head <.< 12498

Perhaps, but the conflict is pretty disproportionately sided. The palestinians are getting blown the fuck to pieces whilst the israelis take less casualties than I have fingers. That doesn't make the palestinians right just because they are being hammered, but still >.> 12499

It's fucking disgraceful to say the least, and that Mental health services are being cut to ribbons in a disproportionate manner to the number of patients they have to deal with is something that reaaaaally fucking pisses me off.
If the NHS can provide fucking gastric bands to bloaters, it can damn well provide some bare minimum care to people on the verge of suicide. 12500

As for the more general relentless offended stance, I'd say that one is down to a mixture of coming from a culture where it is unquestioned and dogma (The two are linked). If you drop a spoiled brat into a regular school, they are going to face some harsh realities about everyone else on the planet not dancing to their tune. They don't want to just write off a massive consumer base, but it is holding back games significantly - especially when you have companies trying to do 5 platform releases simultaneously because the strain is really showing through. As someone with no next gen consoles, possibly not even getting one for the next two years. If it's made for the new gen stuff and PC, it could easily work <.<Why not just combine Elsewyr and Valenwood? The two provinces combined are about the same size as Skyrim. Why not have both in the same game, Skyrim sized. 12508
Gaming / Re: Super secret base thread« on: November 28, 2014, 11:08:15 AM »Every Pokemon game is always the same, is it not? Also, Gen 1 is the best. They follow a similar formula but they aren't just clones of the previous generation of games. Some generations add more than others, like Gen 3 brought full colour and a lot more animation along with contests and the battle frontier. Gen 4 wasn't really all that ground breaking. Gen 5 is where they went for a proper story with some more interesting characters like N and Ghetsis along with the 3D stuff starting to appear. Gen 6 introduced a few gimmicky things and a few great things and streamlined a lot of the older mechanics to make the game a lot more enjoyable <.< Then with ORAS, probably the two biggest changes are freedom of flying where you fly around Hoenn on the back of Latios/Latias and land wherever you like (within reason) and the DexNav which allows you to seek out specific pokemon and try to capture them with a new mechanic. 12509
