I think I just had one of my best games yet. 208 points, 26 kills, 7 titan kills, 17 minion kills, 0 deaths. First time I've ever seen anyone go over 200 in Attrition. And the score doesn't include the end of the game where I got a penta kill and the medals for whiping out the entire enemy team by myself. Got 6 kills in like 20 seconds, will upload a video soon. Are there leaderboards or personal bests for scores and stuff?

There are none.

There were people near me protesting and I don't quite understand why given that I live in what is probably the most irrelevant part of a country that doesn't have any relevance to US elections to begin with.

Makes sense from a story standpoint.

- Made from plastics because they're easier to assemble and cheap to produce (though let's not get into where they got the plastic from). Very efficient at the cost of fire-power, in an environment entirely closed off from the outside world.

- Institute uses synths which are just shy of terminator-level strength and resilience, against foes which at best would have scrounged up lower levels of technology (right up until the BoS turned up, anyway) to fight back. Synths are expendable, so are the guns. It follows on to...

- If most of your missions are scavenging tech from the surface and taking it back to an inaccessible bunker underground for research, there's no need for gatling lasers to kill molerats and radroaches. Same for kidnappings and replacements, who your grabbing is unlikely to be well armed to defend themselves. Send in the synths with batons to bludgeon the dude and then teleport out for "questioning".

Whoever decided it was a good idea to have a WW1 style machine gun act as an assault rifle in Fallout 4 should never go near weapon design ever again

It was originally supposed to be an MG for Power Armoured troops, and they were gonna bring back the Chinese Assault Rifle from FO3 to fill the assault rifle role, but time constraints meant the CAR was never implemented (Unfinished models and textures can be found in the game files) and they stupidly called the thing we have no an assault rifle.

I just have a mod that renames it to a machine gun so it's all good.

I think it was after Nathan left in S2. Series 3 was ok but the entirely new cast they had in 4 and 5 were pretty shit.

Tone is the easiest thing to transition to, fam.

But as much as I still hate the game I really appreciate the design of the different titans, especially Scorch and Northstar. In Titanfall 1 the use of the Ogre was mostly relegated to scrubs who's playstyle consisted of:
Step 1) Empty Chaingun clip
Step 2) Drop smoke for no reason
Step 3) Mash the Melee button mindlessly
Step 4) Panic eject the moment something breathes in your general direction

And even with higher level players they just wouldnt use it. Tanking just didnt work out.
