The image is so misunderstood it hurts.

So what was the intended message of that image? I say they're doing a create job at "helping new players find success" when you can win a warzone match by firing a single round at a boss.

LoA will literally go to any length to defend 343i's bullshit.

I love Admirals to death but I still find that rather silly.

But I do think the community at large did misunderstand what 343i meant by that immage. What they wanted to convey is drawing on new players and making it easier for them to get into the games/EU/ect. (clearly they fucked it up as we see with Halo 5) But what people took it as was a deliberate effort to dumb the game down.

I still cannot believe they themselves made a parody of this shit. Its like Big Rigs devs making a trailer and marketing all the glitches as a feature "xD is just a parody lolz epic!!!"

When that Ad first came out I took it as a sign that 343i were actually working on fixing it but none it was just "lol" bad design. But what pisses me off more is that nobody prominent in the community has made a stink about the problem to this day.  All warzone gameplay on YouTube anymore is just people showing off by farming players with busted ass REQs and ignoring bosses and objectives completely.

tbh the only thing really wrong with it is the helmet

The legs look dainty and frail, and the bullets on the shoulder and those...whatever they are sticking up on the back look retarded.

Nothing is okay with this design.

The legs are normal marine legs and seeing as how these aren't spartans there's nothing wrong with that. Bullet arms and the back pack look dumb, but it's nothing we haven't seen before in Halo.

Would it be too far fetched to say that Halo Online got cancelled simply because MS and 343 knew it would at some point draw in too many players which would cause 343's Halo's to suffer?

It's a shame too. It's not like exelent boss fights can't be done in a FPS, just look at Metroid Prime or the Raids in Desiny. Devs just need to understand that dood boss design is based on good mechanics and not just bullets sponges.
If we want to call the Scarabs in Halo 3 bosses though, they are pretty good, especialy compared to the other 'bosses' we have gotten.
Meanwhile Warden Eternal on the other hand feels like someone ported in an unused Dark Souls 2 boss and just decided to use it as a character in the game. The way his melee is it's like someone saw the Thruster Pack, equated it to Dark Souls's rolling/quicksteps and totaly forgot those have I-Frames and the Truster does not.

There was concept art of what looked to be a Warden Eternal with different forms. If it had that at least, perhaps he wouldnt have been so obnoxious to fight so many times.

You're exactly right, it would've hindered Halo 5's potential sales so they made sure the west never got it. Halo 5 PC I heard is really good, but it's crippled to ensure it doesn't last long.
