in GTA V it's one of the fastest cars you can steal off the street and actually make into your own car, so it was basically the best car to steal as a level one player, the sultan RS (is300 or Altezza) was four doors though, so that was technically better
Sick that they added it to V tbh. Always struck me as one of the more esoteric performance cars

I could keep modding the crossfire but I’m actually happy with it
it’s the SRT one, not the regular one, pulls good, gearing is tall af (it can do 187 lmao?)
I could V8 M113K swap it and Renntech/VRP it to the moon, meth injection, SLR McLaren cams, all that hilarious stuff and have a retarded fast Crossfire but I just want an Evo II clone
That's fair Shit was one of my OG favourites because we had Midtown madness 3 when I was growing up. You unlocked it in pretty early game and it was the first unlockable capable of 300km/h+ (186 miles per) lmao

No I don't think it's autism I think your are proud of what the site was and you know your saving it in your drawer like that collection of cables just in case. We might come back again.
This is that last of the Bungie, Halo era sites.
Thought there was another one that formed before that's likely still kickin?

Partner's car started making funny noises and I decided to take the skyline on a 7 hour road trip to a melee tournament in Adelaide last month. Got there fine aside from the rear bar acting like a parachute after coming loose on one side, on top of a big headwind the whole way and the engine temps getting pretty high (120 c for both coolant and oil) for a few hours on the way in too. The next day car felt lazy and didn't want to make boost, with the turbo sounding like the bearings were shot. Had to leave it with my friend and fly home just to be safe and avoid risking further damage.
$770 (AUD) tow courtesy of some internal contacts at work, and a $450 service later and it ended up being the wastegate actuator arm sticking open. Glad it didn't stick closed/have something worse fail but still I coulda really used that money man LMAO

ok so what you're telling me is that there's going to be an offshoot forum that will be created once the D2 community gets dropped like a bad habit and... wait
The drama between tomy fotnite and grey wolf in the first few months of the new forum gonna be legendary 😩

The Chevy Cruze is such a piece of shit, constant problems with the powertrain and other electronics. They're all going to end up at the junkyard in 10 years with the rest of the GM crap.
Yeah lmao Heard of a few cruzes and captivas not making it to 10,000km/6,000mi without needing an engine replacement ROFLLLLLL Still some of the most common cars on Australian roads. They're not even any cheaper than competitor cars I straight up do not understand why people still buy em

Another reason to dump the Cruze for a better car
Skyline owners in aus always scavenge the systems from Astras for electric power steering conversions. Haven't heard a peep about using a Cruze as a donor ROFLLL

Banjo Tooie is more tedious than its predecessor [spoilerr](backtracking and all of grunty industries made sure of that)[/spoiler] but still good fun imo. Very much worth a playthrough if you enjoyed Kazooie. Slightly different formula but they got the zany worldbuilding down to an art form.

Cursed halo update was pretty sick. Glad the thanos is censored by default now LOL that shit was wack
Minecraft shit was kinda fun but the star of the show is still the D20 grenade and Blunderbuss imo

The precedent for the job market has been pretty clear over the last few decades imo.
Anything that can be automated will be, and the revenue sure ain't gonna be going into the pockets of the people who used to work those jobs. Art and entertainment is just the next thing to be hit.
AI itself coming to the table isn't really a bad thing in a vacuum, but I imagine it's just gonna be abused as a tool to add a new genre of profession lo the peasant class while record labels and production companies get to have an even easier time making money for free.
The chance to actually stop any of this probably vanished decades ago tbh. Though can't blame anyone for organising.

If you want a better representation of how the graphics looked back then def try and get a cracked copy of Halo CE PC. You lose out on 60fps which kinda blows but the textures look sooooooooo much better than MCC CEA on retro settings.
I've been getting into a bit of mcc lately too, mainly online customs when there's good ones running. The endless Blood Gulch Slayer server was a good bit of fun before it closed. Also been playing a decent bit of Melee via Slippi and a bit of my retro console backlog but haven't had a tonne of time for it sadly. Haven't touched the driving sim in a good few weeks either.

ROFL fair, I find I max out at around 350 to EU but yeah anything worse than 90 starts being teleport central. Intercontinental build and 3f delay helps up to 170 or so and beyond that completely unplayable

Yo homies Just putting out feelers for if anyone's keen on playing some Melee in an online tournament. It will run via Slippi Dolphin on Netplay. Comers of all skill levels welcome! Anyone not familiar with Slippi but keen to participate can find the install link here: https://slippi.ggIf any region in the poll gets 8 or more votes I'll go ahead and make a tournament for it.. Any questions or interest in getting your region not mentioned here lemme know below! Site traffic has been in a bit of a lull so not expecting much but would be good to see if ppl are interested. This will not be anything like the 2 Smash 4 tourneys I tried to host ROFL

gotta enable the scan lines and put it at 144hz and it’s so worth it
those indie games that try to look retro really shine once you have on those scan lines and they’re so snappy on a 144hz CRT
i was kind of put off from that style because pixel art isn’t interesting to me (seems like a relic that’s just simple and lazy to do) but once you have a set up where the game could fool you into actually being old school it’s like a blast from past and they’re actually better than the real classics
Didn't even know CRTs supported 144hz. Do you just enable this in the service menu or gotta mod the board?

waiting on a new pulley because I broke the last one but it still works
going to stiffen the handling a bunch with eibach pro springs, koni dampeners, and H&R sway bars
kind of want to make it faster but I’m going to hold off on that for now
reject the good mods, embrace ebay 3582 and piggyback ecu
