Working for big company such as them is of difficultness. Glass ceiling exists and money is nowhere to be found. Be weary in your quest and listen to advice of wise, experienced people in this thread.

The Flood / Re: If I were to construct a run of the mill RPG

Gah, no clue.
Though 2$ dollars is a very, very fair price for any solid game. People are paying more for literal garbage (but that's their decision).

Go for 2$.

Thank you, I think a reasonable price is key to success. If I make price accessible, like 2$, more people will want to play.

It really depends on the quality, a "run of the mill" RPG is probably only worth a few [insert currency].
I'd say take a look at Steam and see what the average for RPGs like what you're planning go for.

I understand what you mean. I don't think I have the skills to make a 'long game' but I aiming for a strong amount of replay value. Hopefully that is where success will be. I hope players will have fun fighting optional bosses, or searching for rare items. I think though 8bit games on steam are overpriced. If my game is made, I will make sure to keep it very cheap so everyone can play if they want.

Are you late night crew?

I'm sorry, I'm not sure who that is.

Before I make my writing son the subject, may I say to people who make this forum run, if you think this is better suited for gaming just tell me please and I will make the thread stop. But I think it be better make suiting for offtopic because I am discussing potential possiblities not of actual game that is made thank you much.

Okie dokie, I have a question for you people here if you are kind enough to bless me with your answer. If I was to spawn a standard RPG game (think FF, FFII, although slightly more sophisticated) and publish said game, what would you think would  be reasonable price for it? If any price at all?

I am not making many concerns of profit. But I want contribute and PRIMARY concern is feedbak and share many idea. If game is create, I share here free.

I have no understanding of making poll for this thread, please choosing selection that most pertains to you understanding opnion of question.

Which price you say would be most reasonable for 8-bit esque slightly above average RPG. ??

Free.  2$.  More than 2£.

Many thanking upon you, if any more question PLEASE ask, i will have answer.

EDIT****

What would you like to see in an 8bit RPG? What would make you buy one for 2$$???

Your argument (I suppose you are trying to outline one?) is incredibly disjointed. Your area of inquisition states that you wil be looking into history, I was curious when I read that and thought you would have an interesting point to make.

However, from my understanding you are arguing for a literal mind of binary. Black or white, yes or  no, 1 or 0. Where is your dislike of all of history present here? Did you forget that that was relevant to your argument? Also, the idea of having a binary mind, is inherently impossible. Not only that, it is objectively inferior to having a 'flowing' mind as Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, Virgil, Homer, Cicero, Plautus and Aeschylus will confirm.

I don't understand what point you are trying to make, if any. What does your example of abortion have to do with your distaste of common occurances in reality and history and why is a binary mind even remotely preferable? What are you referring to by reality?

I have written many thousands of words about this over the years. But I am too tired to find my old files that have some useful essays relating to this that I could post.

Instead however, I will tell you what is perhaps the single most important point that was ever raised during the 20+ years (and ongoing) debate. It is this single truth that eclipses all else.

« on: October 03, 2015, 07:37:08 AM »
I have my BA in History. I am studying for all my entrance exams to get into a Master's in Education program to become a social studies teacher. Why I want to be one:

summers off
beautiful smart women will be in the program to mingle with
summers off
oh yeah, and I guess kids should learn about history too

It seems like you have thought about this profession thoroughly
I have, actually. Being a teacher is fun. I've only subbed so far though. To me it seems more enjoyable than being a business manager, salesman, office drone, etc... but that is just my opinion. The students liked me because I'm pretty much still a kid. One of the 7th graders was talking to me about South Park and video games.

I would gladly paint the walls with my brains rather than teach anyone under 25 years old.

May good fortune and lasting goodness be upon you in your years as teaching profession.

worst mistake of my life.

Why is this so?

Bsc Geology, 2nd Year. Just came back from 2 separate fieldtrips from Arran Isle, Scotland and the Triassic-Cretaceous coasts around Devon.

I'm more interested in the subject itself than the money-making side, but sedimentary petrology is always an option...

You make studying happening in Dublin, Galway or elsewhere??

Technically I'm enrolled for a psychology associates degree, but I'm not in classes for personal reasons. However, I am taking free online courses to learn how to write script, and I plan switching my degree to computer sciences. I'll leave the psychology to Mr.Psy.

I don't understand most of what you said or what it means but I wish you great luck and success.

Oh... Well thank you! Basically I'm learning JavaScript, CSS, and a few other computer programming languages... Essentially I'll be able to create my own web pages from "scratch", and hopefully my own programs. There are a lot of well paying jobs for web designers in my area, but I have to get good first.

I see now. Is good to study this, for computer language knowledge is key for today society.

As we say in my area of study : Age quod agis!

If you're going to college and not keeping economical reasons in mind whatsoever, you need to rethink your degree.

I suck at chemistry, but I'm trying to get better at it. I'm hoping to get into pharmaceutical school someday.

By that I meant for people that are TOO POOR  to afford to do a good degree but still want use what money they hav for other degree that would be seen by society as LESSER. But is still of a worthy nature.

Like for example. Student wants to learn space. But his family money is TOO POOR. Instead he goes to local college to learn about Vikings. Is still good for him becasue he made choice to work with what has been given to him by scoietyial class.

I am interested to know what you guys do. Please make tell why you have chosen to. And not feel ashame if you pick for ECONOMICAL reasons

I think we can making good disccussion withoút resorting to "Science > Arts" that you see all the time.

For because art is important to society as well, it is nothing to improve life with science if you cannot appreciate illogical creation no?

Make space shop to fly to stars is good but is also good painter that depicts achievement of Uranus.

What I study is not making money. But I feel no sadness because I am study subject of good interest to me and my professors are nice people with plentiful and bountiful knolwedge. Good professor is key to victory. Thank you for reading my post tbh.

I don't think it would be a fair fight.

When an Onion Beetle faces a human, 9 times out of 10 the human should win. In this case, me, myself and I being the human in question.

HOWEVER!

If the Onion Beetle were to be ENLARGED to my SIZE the fight would almost certainly sway in favour of the Onion Beetle.

Any answer other than Vanilla is LITERALLY wrong. Before you say I'm memeing you, hear me out.

Vanilla has best taste. Not to mention the light Yuri she shares with Chocola, I don't need to remind you that Yuri is the purest form of love. Arguably the most important point is her purr-fect personality. Pardon the pun! xDDDD (sorry that was a meme tbh)

(to be honest)

But yeah, it's that dere where they sound cold and detached but are actually not robots. (Unlike Rei which is the objective worst girl of everything and has no traits other than being shit)
