dumb and lame prank
Why? Seriously I just think you hate me and therefore will ascribe anything I do as bad.
because there's no joke, it's just you doing an annoying RP
The joke is that we got hacked. People sincerely fell for it. I have like 13 year olds on this server dude.

Yeah. Take a look at what I did below: (I'll only use one spoiler, for easy access)
Spoiler So it started off simple. The idea is, Aku took over my server lol. I even made my normal movie announcement in the style of Aku. So for reference, normally my movie announcements are formatted like this: But I did tonight's movie announcement in a different way: And it was all nice - until it wasn't. And remember, I'm taking screenshots and I'm trying to make them as accurate as possible, but Discord isn't letting me change my name that often. While this happened, my name was ๏ผก๏ผซ๏ผต. But yeah, people got upset.
So at this point, I started to use our server's feature where you can give someone the "Banished" role. The role sends them directly to the #prison channel, and that's all they can access. It's normally used for deciding what to do with troublemakers, and listen to their appeals and such, and decide whether to ban them or not. But Aku sent people who didn't give him his due respect to that channel instead. And yes, that may have been over the line. But I wanted to give Aku some actual power to make it in character (he referred to the prison as "The Pit of Hate") without actually banning/kicking people.
Anyway, one of my mods let them all out of #prison early, which I guess makes sense. I thought people were going to get into character and be like "O Mighty Aku we apologize, please let us remain on your land", but I guess people are very strict these days. Anyway, here's what happened after they were released: So yeah, I made her a mod for that lol.
BUT YEAH. So many people got so pent up. Here are my DMs with my ex-boyfriend on the subject:
But even that wasn't the end of it. No, we had to have a little fight about it afterwards too: vvvvvvvvvvvNEW MESSAGESvvvvvvvvvvv ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
So there you have it, that was my prank. I thought more people would appreciate it, but whatever. But here's what I want to know: Was I in the right, or in the wrong here? Please comment with your thoughts!

Inland Empire fucked me up. I havent slept in 3 days. I wanted to beat Inland Empire and not be scared of it. But it's terriying. I have no more dxm. I asked to sleep with my mom and sister and brother in their special room. No. I cannot. I have to sleep alone. I want to sleep on their floor of their room. They say no. I say Im not sleeping alone they say you are. I say I will just pressure through the fourth night dxm is what let me stay up those three nights but I have none. I need the light of the dawn. Thats when I can feel safe. The Dark Knight Rises was terrifying. I watched that too. Terrorists are evil and they will always win. A note I wrote to them There is no hope. Terrorists win. Everyone dies, and they suffer. No one cares. They laugh and they mock and they go into special rooms without me. There's no symbol of hope - that died a long time ago. That died a long time ago. I always thought these films were a realistic take on the idea of Batman. But there's nothing realistic at all - about a society that wants a hero - about a world where principles matter more than whims. There is no hope in America, Gotham, or anywhere. Batman was supposed to mean something, but he dies like everyone else. Movies aren't real - they're delusions. Themes arent real. Values arent real. Motifs arent real. All thats rwal is suffering - and chaos. chaos chaos chaos always. Theres nothing else left.

You're welcome. It comes with subtitles which are essential when they start speaking in foreign languages. Try to find a digital copy of this movie anywhere else - it's impossible.

if the quarantine hadn't complicated things, would you consider going the extra mile into veganism? because if it's an ethical decision for you, it's important to understand that vegetarianism isn't quite "enough" unless you're using it as a stepping stone
No, because I don't think there's anything wrong with using animal goods when you're not hurting the animal. A sheep in captivity, being shaved every now and again in exchange for food, water, shelter, and security, is not a bad deal for the sheep. They essentially get to escape the cruel cycle of life in exchange for a harmless procedure done every once in a while. the trouble is, when extracting virtually any product from farm animals, they are pretty much invariably harmed in the process
the animal exploitation industry is a business like any other, and like any other business, they have to meet profit margins by selling as much produce as efficiently as possibleโand there's no scenario where this ends well for the animals
with regards to sheep-shearing, a factory farm isn't going to hire someone who treats sheep with love and care, because that's not fast enoughโinstead, they hire sociopaths who don't care if they injure the sheep, as long as they get it done as fast as possible
the nicks and cuts they get from this procedure are known to attract fliesโso many, in fact, that they'll start laying eggs inside of their wounds; the maggots will then start wreaking havoc on their insides and, of course, cause an even worse infestation (this is called flystrike)
because flystrike happens most often around the anus (for obvious reasons), farmers began to cut off the strips of skin around their tail in a process called mulesingโimagine having the skin on your buttocks peeled off, basicallyโto help prevent infestations, which is neither foolproof nor humane
this all takes place, of course, so that human beings can have cuddly clothes
when the sheep age beyond their usefulness, they are immediately slaughteredโand although opinions vary among vegans on how big of a deal this is, we can all agree that if you're going to put an animals "out of their misery," they should be euthanized, not slaughtered
online, you'll probably find articles talking about how important and necessary it is for sheep to be shorn, because they're incapable of shedding themselves, and will overheat and die if we don't do it for themโ"so what's the harm in reaping the benefits of that"โand this is true, but you have to remember that the only reason sheep on farms don't stop growing their wool is because they've been selectively bred for that very purpose
so no matter how you look at it, livestock sheep are bred to sufferโthe industry cannot sustain itself if they don't
I totally feel you with all of this, but this is a problem with capitalism, not with using animal products. To give you a comparison - even in the most humane, painless farms, executing an animal for its meat will always be wrong. Even if an animal is given a fantastic life, and they're killed in their sleep painlessly, that would still be wrong. The problems you laid out above are problems with our current way of garnering products from animals. Hypothetically, we could procure animal products in a way that's completely morally fine. And in many organic, small establishments, even in the US, we are working on doing that. Of course, I'm going to use animal products as little as possible for exactly the reasons you described, but if I see an opportunity (a family friend who breeds chickens in his spare time, giving us eggs, and we see that the chickens are given a good loving home, for instance), then I don't see a problem with it.

Of course, this assumes that the animals are being treated fairly. And of course, the core problem here is a lack of consent. But in this case, we can assume that because this is a beneficial deal for the animal, the animal would give consent if it could. If a different deal was offered (we food/house/protect you for your childhood in exchange for slaughtering you as soon as you're a healthy adult), then it wouldn't be a beneficial deal for the animal, and thus we can predict that they wouldn't give consent if it could. An animal being used for it's goods is no different than an animal being used for it's services. Think dogs - entertainment and home protection in exchange for food/water/shelter. Or horses/donkeys/oxen using their strength to help us and we feed and house them for it. Is it exploitation? Yes. Is that better than being thrust into the cruel circle of life, where failure doesn't mean your owner yells at you, but you get eaten alive? Yes.I hope you can understand my logic here. Being a vegan was never a goal for me.

My little brother has been one for a while and I've always wanted to be one. It goes against my beliefs of antinatalism so much by furthering the suffering of sentient life. Anyway, I was going to do it for new years but couldn't so I said I'd do it after my birthday.
And to be clear, I'm a vegetarian for moral reasons, so if meat is already there and is going to be wasted, then yes in that case I'm kinda obligated to eat it, or else the animal died for nothing. I can still honor the animal the best I can. But I'll never actively seek out meat, because then new meat has to replace it.

i dont really celebrate my birthday
in fact i get quite annoyed when people try to do things for me
same here but people insist, so I try to just ask for small nice things like this normally my sister wouldn't sit down and watch a movie with me, but today she said yes and ended up getting so into it. We all smoked of course. It's a really good film - much better than the original

they loved it by the end (my mom didnt watch - just me, my sister, her boyfriend, and my young brother)
my sister was obsessed with the first one when it came out lol but didnt want to watch this one but it was funny when she started getting so into it. Being with that terrible controlling boyfriend has changed her but whatever.
It was also nice to get free weed and nicotine and such. Anyway this post shouldn't be just about me - what was your best birthday?

Okay, that's fair I guess. I don't see the problem with Anna ending up with Christoph, as their personalities complement each other, but yeah I'd always love a story without a romantic necessity for the female protagonist. I can't fault Frozen too much for doing what literally every Disney movie, and 80% of stories in general, have done.
I wouldn't call Frozen bland, though. If you liked Tangled, one would think you'd like Frozen. The two are very similar in quality, and really the only thing Tangled has over Frozen is that Flynn Rider is fucking hilarious and probably the best Disney prince of all time (except maybe Aladdin).

also yeah i love disney but fuck frozen
What the hell is wrong with Frozen, other than it being popular? It's a great franchise with memorable and likeable characters, not to mention truly mesmerizing songs and messages that everyone should hear.

I'm not going to get infected, and if I do I'll just kill myself. This virus won't get the upper hand on me. I have been exceptionally clean since the announcement of this thing to a pandemic came out. I am a cockroach, I will survive. I'm not scared of this and neither should you be.
