If you have to Google “definition of terrorist” and use whatever pops up as a prop to your argument, then you don’t understand how arguments work.

You’re fighting a battle of semantics without considering what “terrorists” are actually considered.

Were the Founding Father terrorists? They used violence to bring about a political change.

Was Malcolm X a terrorist? He did the same.

No terrorist has an ideology - he has an anti-ideology. His entire belief set is an opposition to a preexisting belief set. They are terrorists because they strike terror into people, with violence and intimidation, for having the gall to freely believe in whatever they choose. They’re terrorists because when the rest of us were picking what philosophy we subscribed to, they were picking what philosophy they hated.

I don't think it's that black and white. The majority of terrorists have an ideology, and it's taken to it's maximum on one end of a scale. You can't not have an ideology in place because terrorism wouldn't function without it. Ideology is the central core of what all terrorism is about. It's two narratives and egos clashing, with one of them being so devout that they'd be willing to kill or destroy to win.

Then what separates a terrorist from a revolutionary?

My style of humor largely comes from absurdism, literary nonsense, and exaggeration. Saying ridiculous, baffling things that both defy social convention yet still pay homage to pop cultural convention is a blend that I strive to balance. It’s different than trolling, because I’m open and on the sleeve about it. Anyone with a modicum of awareness can tell when a thread of mine is serious (the “Adventure” threads, Baccano write-up) and when a thread is humorous (this one, nearly every site “suggestion” I make in Septagon). Lewis Carroll and Seth MacFarlane are both big influences on my style.

I recognize that most people here don’t think that this type of humor is funny, but that’s really okay. I have tons of fans on Discord, Facebook, and other communities, and I consider my joking around posts here to be a kind of practice for me. They keep me sharp, in an arena where I can truly think about what I’m going to say next instead of requiring to think on-the-fly, as chat servers require.

I’m not out to harm anyone, I never let a misguided view of me (for better or worse) go unchecked, and I never rely on crude humor like stereotypes or bigotry. When you consider everything I’ve said in this post, and you reread some of my material, it should click into place for you - at the very least, you should see where I’m coming from. If not, you’re probably a pretty miserable soul IRL. And that’s not me making a joke.
