"people lie and troll each other on the internet, so you can't trust anyone"
yeah, unlike the real world where you can trust everyone
"the internet allows people to be anonymous so they can get away with saying fucked up shit"
in other words, the internet allows people to reveal to each other who they REALLY areโeven if what you really are is a worthless trollโmaking it even less of a facade than the one created by physical social interaction, where we try to make ourselves look presentable to one another due to obligation, among other smokescreens, that basically serve to do nothing but obfuscate the seedy underbellies, or the true cores of our being
which is not to say that no one has ever been honest outside of the internet, just that there's no reason to trust or distrust anyone in particular based exclusively off the medium they're using to interact with youโif i just met you, whether it's on or off the internet, i have no reason to assume virtually anything about youโit's all the same shit
the internet isn't a special mask that people wearโit's a mask, but it's just another mask in a big collection that everyone has and uses, and nobody, on or offline, has ever really seen anyone's true face; indeed, some people can't even see their own (and maybe no one truly can, since we're constantly learning evolving as individuals)
either way, all of this takes place under the purview of the physical material world, so there is, literally, metaphysically, no reason to divide "the internet" with the "real world," because they are objectively one in the same, and the former cannot even exist without the latterโeverything that happens in life is part of life, obviously
the only things that aren't part of our world are fictional or imaginative worlds, ones created in stories or dreams, and the internet is neither of those things
how do you explain me then this is my facebook profile picture, I'm not using any mask

Welcome back Kraut. This place is so negative and backwards but I like to stick around because people here know me better than most IRL people
That's sad, you deserve better.
Thanks, man. We haven't talked a lot but you've always seemed like a decent person. I'm just more guarded IRL and rarely talk about myself beyond what TV shows I like.

my dad and his wife ๐
parents are divorced, I don't feel the need to hide that or anything.
He remarried huh
he did indeed, and she's a very bizarre and uncomfortable person.
She has cameras and keypad locks at all the doors, including the door inside the garage.
LOL what the fuck. Sorry man that sucks, sounds like a crazy ass bitch.
you know nothing about this woman and are so quick to dismiss her with a gendered phrase that has a super sordid history and people pretend sexism doesn't exist

you have a right to die and it's immoral to stop someone who invokes that right
family is a meaningless concept and is only enforced as a cruel social obligation
human rights are far more important than social well being; society can adapt to a moral status quo and if it somehow can't (it can) the very idea of society isn't worth violating those rights

Iโm going to kill myself sheldon. After all these years, after all of this torture. The laughs, you can hear them can you? Echoing through the halls. This is hell. We make the same jokes very day, nothing matters, theyโre not even funny. Theyโre just inoffensive, bland. I hate you. If this isnt already hell, Iโll welcome it in the afterlife.

Hi yeah just another person bringing up the issue with the in-game economy system. High prices and low payouts blah blah blah blatantly nudging players towards micro-transactions etc etc. Look, I'm going to level with you here, random Rockstar employee that probably isn't even reading this. I NEED this online experience to crush it. I've been raving for, like, the last 5 years about the Red Dead Redemption 1 online experience and how much fun it was. My girlfriend will literally leave me if I tell the whole "we used to have shootouts on Armadillo rooftops!" story again. The point is, if this game's online flops, I'm THAT asshole that made everyone buy this game, then when everyone is infuriated I gotta sheepishly be all "Hey we can boot up Rocket League haha." I know it's early and beta and some other third excuse but c'mon. Tackle the glaring issues the community is actively reee'ing about. Thanks for your time.

https://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/60711/Red-Dead-Online-Beta?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=reddeadonline-11262018&utm_content=newswire Now that everyone has had a chance over the past month to experience the story of Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang in Red Dead Redemption 2, it is almost time to begin the beta period for Red Dead Online. Early access to the Red Dead Online beta begins tomorrow on Tuesday, November 27, working up to full public access on Friday, November 30. Built from the ground up for the latest hardware, Red Dead Online blends the classic multiplayer of the original Red Dead Redemption with the best of everything we have learned since then about creating deep multiplayer experiences. The result is something completely new and fun, and an experience that will continue to expand and evolve over time. With the gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2 as its foundation, Red Dead Online transforms the vast and deeply detailed landscapes, cities, towns and habitats of Red Dead Redemption 2 into a new, living online world ready to be shared by multiple players. Create and customize your character, tailor your abilities to suit your play style and head out into a new frontier full of things to experience. Explore the world solo or with friends. Form or join a Posse to ride with up to seven players; gather around the fire at your Camp; head out hunting or fishing; visit bustling towns; battle enemy gangs and attack their hideouts; hunt for treasure; take on missions and interact with familiar characters from across the five states; or fight against other outlaws in both spontaneous skirmishes and pitched set-piece battles; compete with other players or whole Posses in open world challenges and much more. The launch of the Red Dead Online Beta is the first step in what will be a continually expanding and dynamic world, and the beta period will allow us to deal with the inevitable turbulence of launching any online experience of this size and scale. During this process, we will be looking to our dedicated community to help us report and fix problems, share ideas, and assist in shaping the future of the full Online experience. As with all of our releases, we will strive to make the launch of Red Dead Online the best it can possibly be, and we ask that the community share that spirit with us over the next weeks and months. To help us ease into the beta and to mitigate major issues, we will begin the early access period starting Tuesday, November 27 at 8:30am EST, and gradually scale the player base up to full access beginning on Friday, November 30. This will help ensure that our servers can handle a steadily growing volume of concurrent players in the early hours and first days of the Beta and hopefully reduce the likelihood of any server crashes during the launch week as we get things up and running. Full rollout details are as follows: - Tuesday, November 27th: All Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition owners. Please note, players who purchased the physical Ultimate Edition must redeem the Ultimate Edition code in the packaging to be eligible.
- Wednesday, November 28th: All players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 26th according to our data.
- Thursday, November 29th: All players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 between October 26th to October 29th according to our data.
- Friday, November 30th: All players who own Red Dead Redemption 2.
The Red Dead Online Beta will be available to anyone who owns Red Dead Redemption 2 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One starting Friday, November 30. When booting up Red Dead Redemption 2 and arriving to the title menu, you will see an option in the top right of the screen to select Online. Stay tuned to the Rockstar Newswire tomorrow for more details about Red Dead Online modes, gameplay and more.
What does everyone think of this? Looks exciting!
