The Flood / I almost just died« on: January 28, 2019, 07:54:59 AM »
Holy fucking shit I need to be more careful. I was just trying to go downstairs to play my PS4, I was carrying my laptop with me to bring downstairs, but halfway down the stairs I zoned out / fainted / whatever and fucking collapsed and rolled down the stairs onto the hard concrete basement floor. I got so lucky that I didn't snap my neck, but holy shit my jaw and neck feels so fucked up right now. The pain is kinda going away though, I just hope my body can repair this shit by itself so I don't need to pay hospital bills. I think I'm going to be fine, if it was a lethal injury I would've been dead by now. Anyway just wanted to have an official post here so I can look back on this and not make the same mistake in the future. I need to be a lot more cautious, I should've just went outside and walked down the incline to get to the basement.
But what's funny about this is that I realized something. If I was a girl - small and petite and fragile like I want to be - I would've died right there. I hate my big tall burly body and all that comes with it, but goddamn, my body type probably saved my life tonight. It would have been so much worse if I didn't have that male tougher bones and larger body and all that. Me being trans probably saved me tonight. I think I can start to appreciate the benefits of having a physically strong body now. It might not make me look cute or pretty, but my stature has so many grounded life benefits that I didn't realize until now. Being alive is the most important thing, way more important than even being a girl, so I'm actually glad that I have this build now. It's going to be a lot harder to kill me lol. I can be a trans woman with a big body actually - that's fine. I can protect people and protect myself that way. I never knew I had this privilege honestly and I'm going to value it a lot more in my life now. 243

I really like you guys and I like this place. After being on that site for a few days I appreciate this actual real forum so much. We actually have identities on here. The only problem is how slow this site is lol, is there no way we can increase activity?

The Flood / you guys arent even fun« on: January 20, 2019, 05:48:18 PM »
you have people posting here every day who have known each other for years and no one is organizing social events not even a rabb.it room
life update that you dont want to see Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler I've accepted I'm always going to be a second class woman even when I'm done with this transition - I dont care about being offensive, any man wants a real woman over someone who used to be a man. We're subclass and we're lucky to get what we get because honestly we shouldn't even be a demographic. It's so sick that there can be a mistake where sex and gender dont link up. I've accepted all of this and it's still better than being this way. I wish I could find a dominant bisexual guy who doesnt care that Im a man 246

The Flood / Gravity Falls book« on: January 13, 2019, 01:09:48 PM »
Just got gravity falls lost legends, and it's so good! The first story is about identity and how your looks aren't everything and it really resonated with me. Anyone who likes Gravity Falls I recommend check out this book, and if you haven't seen the show yet, what the hell? It's amazing and will be remembered like Shakespere is today.

The Flood / I love disregarding stupid words« on: January 02, 2019, 06:10:50 PM »![]() if it was so vital to our language you'd think it would've come up before this age of forced, reactionary maledom 251
Hi yeah just another person bringing up the issue with the in-game economy system. High prices and low payouts blah blah blah blatantly nudging players towards micro-transactions etc etc. Look, I'm going to level with you here, random Rockstar employee that probably isn't even reading this. I NEED this online experience to crush it. I've been raving for, like, the last 5 years about the Red Dead Redemption 1 online experience and how much fun it was. My girlfriend will literally leave me if I tell the whole "we used to have shootouts on Armadillo rooftops!" story again. The point is, if this game's online flops, I'm THAT asshole that made everyone buy this game, then when everyone is infuriated I gotta sheepishly be all "Hey we can boot up Rocket League haha." I know it's early and beta and some other third excuse but c'mon. Tackle the glaring issues the community is actively reee'ing about. Thanks for your time.

Gaming / Red Dead Online beta announced, full access on 11/30« on: November 26, 2018, 03:04:26 PM »
https://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/60711/Red-Dead-Online-Beta?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=reddeadonline-11262018&utm_content=newswire
![]() Now that everyone has had a chance over the past month to experience the story of Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang in Red Dead Redemption 2, it is almost time to begin the beta period for Red Dead Online. Early access to the Red Dead Online beta begins tomorrow on Tuesday, November 27, working up to full public access on Friday, November 30. Built from the ground up for the latest hardware, Red Dead Online blends the classic multiplayer of the original Red Dead Redemption with the best of everything we have learned since then about creating deep multiplayer experiences. The result is something completely new and fun, and an experience that will continue to expand and evolve over time. ![]() With the gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2 as its foundation, Red Dead Online transforms the vast and deeply detailed landscapes, cities, towns and habitats of Red Dead Redemption 2 into a new, living online world ready to be shared by multiple players. Create and customize your character, tailor your abilities to suit your play style and head out into a new frontier full of things to experience. Explore the world solo or with friends. Form or join a Posse to ride with up to seven players; gather around the fire at your Camp; head out hunting or fishing; visit bustling towns; battle enemy gangs and attack their hideouts; hunt for treasure; take on missions and interact with familiar characters from across the five states; or fight against other outlaws in both spontaneous skirmishes and pitched set-piece battles; compete with other players or whole Posses in open world challenges and much more. ![]() The launch of the Red Dead Online Beta is the first step in what will be a continually expanding and dynamic world, and the beta period will allow us to deal with the inevitable turbulence of launching any online experience of this size and scale. During this process, we will be looking to our dedicated community to help us report and fix problems, share ideas, and assist in shaping the future of the full Online experience. As with all of our releases, we will strive to make the launch of Red Dead Online the best it can possibly be, and we ask that the community share that spirit with us over the next weeks and months. To help us ease into the beta and to mitigate major issues, we will begin the early access period starting Tuesday, November 27 at 8:30am EST, and gradually scale the player base up to full access beginning on Friday, November 30. This will help ensure that our servers can handle a steadily growing volume of concurrent players in the early hours and first days of the Beta and hopefully reduce the likelihood of any server crashes during the launch week as we get things up and running. Full rollout details are as follows:
Stay tuned to the Rockstar Newswire tomorrow for more details about Red Dead Online modes, gameplay and more. What does everyone think of this? Looks exciting! 254
