If you think I misspelled the title, you're not alone. I doubt anyone here is affected by it, but there's this pretty interesting psychological phenomenon called the Mandela Effect which causes a large group of people to collectively remember something incorrectly. It's a new observation and still being studied pretty heavily, but I find it pretty interesting. Apparently, a sizeable number of people explicitly remember Chick-Fil-A being spelled Chic-Fil-A at some point as well, even though it never has been. Some are trying to use this as evidence to support the idea of multiple timelines, but I just see it as a mental effect.

lmaoNot all of them are accurate, but this is still funny as hell. The last two are the best. Don't know if I agree with the choice for Fiorina.

http://www.sanders.senate.gov/democracydayNationwide, preliminary indications are that the total turnout for the 2014 elections was only 36.6 percent, according to the United States Elections Project at the University of Florida.
In America, we should be celebrating our democracy and doing everything possible to make it easier for people to participate in the political process. Election Day should be a national holiday so that everyone has the time and opportunity to vote. While this would not be a cure-all, it would indicate a national commitment to create a more vibrant democracy.
We should not be satisfied with a "democracy" in which more than 60 percent of our people don't vote and some 80 percent of young people and low-income Americans fail to vote. We can and must do better than that. While we must also focus on campaign finance reform and public funding of elections, establishing an Election Day holiday would be an important step forward. People will never be able to use the "I have to work on election day" excuse again

It's plain to see that sep7agon is a remnant of the past. Mod bias is rampant, people are being dictated to what avatars they're allowed to use, and the rules have become far too strict. The popular users like elegiac and lemon have total ban immunity while a lesser user like naoto is punished for expressing his individuality.
this is why I've founded Oct8gon.net, currently in alpha stage
I'm going to need at least $150 for a down payment on a server, so send whatever you can to 1401 West Fort Street, PO Box #217, Detroit, MI, 48233-9900
Together we can make a true Bungie offsite

The idiocy starts at :35. Really, you're going to block traffic for hours, then try to get someone's license plate number when they legally use the road? For what? These people get more retarded every day. Birds-eye gif:

Spoiler After hours of staring at DBs, these are the things you think of. You ever done that? Hmm? You look in their eyes, even in a picture. Doesn't matter if they're dead or alive. You can still read them, and you know what you see? They welcomed it. Not at first, but right there in the last instant. It's an unmistakable relief, see, because they were afraid. And now they saw, for the very first time, how easy it was to just let go, and they saw - in that last nanosecond, they saw what they were. That you, yourself, this whole big drama, it was never anything but a jerry-rig of presumption and dumb will, and you could just let go; finally know that you didn't have to hold on so tight. To realize that all your life - all your love, all your hate, all your memory, all your pain - it was all the same thing.
It was all the same dream, a dream that you had inside a locked room. A dream about being a person. And like a lot of dreams, there's a monster at the end of it. I swear to god it has the best monologues. Has anyone seen this incredible show? I'm only one episode away from the S1 finale.
