Mass Effect wins, hands down.
Any Forerunner ship would destroy any Mass Effect vessel, even Reapers.

Come back when the Normandy can successfully defeat ships that can destroy stars and can travel through the galaxy without Mass relays.

I like Shepard...a lot. I like ME a lot. But if a seven foot tall super soldier can't beat a single Forerunner alone then Shepard isn't going to do anything but make the Didact laugh.
To be fair, his biotics give him a better chance than John had. Not that they would give him any real chance at beating Dickdact, though.

Star Trek would be the last one standing, Mass Effect would be the first to go down. Like the entire battle would probably take 6 seconds but barring the use of the Q, ME is the most underpowered universe listed by a fair margin.

But Halo 2 made the Aliens feel less like a collection of space Hitlers and more like people with culture, history, and made me care.
But dat decade-long search for Regret though. And dat century-long fight against the flood in the quarantine zone though.
That search for Regret was like 2 missions.
