I'd rather my brain get placed into a mechanical body instead. With the right technology, I could keep my ability to feel and even reproduce.
Strongly doubting the Imperium is noblebright enough for either of those, though.
It's certainly doable with Imperial tech <.< Well mechanicus tech anyway.
You have some techpriests who are completely robotic other than their brain, which is also rammed full of upgrades and circuitry >.>
I know full-body conversions are possible in 40k, but I don't think they retain the ability to feel or reproduce. That wouldn't be cynical enough, I'd assume.

Maguire was a great Peter Parker, but not a great Spider-Man. Still, I'll take him if Garfield is out.

I'm in the early stages of writing a script for my theater class that my teacher will hopefully allow me to direct.
It's a story about rape and genocide in Bosnia.
forget the screenplay and write an erotica instead.
but then I won't be able to perform it at school :^(
You could. The other actors just wouldn't know they were acting in it.

Yeah, he was, and it didn't help that he lied to Ellie about it, making it so she couldn't make the choice herself. He denied the world a chance at recovery so he could have his daughter back, in a way.
It's implied she knew he was lying, but chose not to press the issue.

In a choice between a ruthless survivor who will doom humanity in order to save his surrogate daughter and an equally ruthless group of rebels willing to tear open an innocent girl to save their own sorry asses, there is no good guy or bad guy.

Currently writing a little sci-fi war thing...with vampires. I have a full series planned out and multiple spinoffs, a 36-page encyclopedia of facts about each faction and the technology they use, and a 9-page timeline.
Granted, I've been doing more planning to write than actual writing, and it irritates the hell out me that I haven't been working on it nearly enough.

Friendly reminder that ISIS wants to sell the decapitated body of Foley for a million dollars. fucking scum bags deserve the torture
So if we do to them what they do to us...how are we any better than them?
We're not doing it to innocent people, that's how. Geez, ask an obvious question...

Well, now we know we can kick the UNSC's arse
We already could. Just, y'know, not in space.
By the time we hit the beginning of halo we'd probably have robots that would make Spartans look like toys
Yep. No boots on the ground - only drones and nuclear airstrikes called in from a star system away. Assuming humanity is still around, anyhow.

Overhyped games always lead to disappointment. Underhyped games sometimes turn out to be an unexpected gem, once in a while.

I'm much less gruff on the Internet. More likely to express myself, too.
