all I saw were people screaming and powering up. That's probably not what the show's even about but ever since I've just sort of avoided it. No, that's basically spot-on. It had average viewings in Japan but did extremely well in America and Europe back in the late '90s-early '00s since nothing like it had really been seen before. For a lot of anime fans, Dragonball is the series that got them into an entire brand of entertainment.

What about the first door ever? Now that's something to have in a museum.
It's just be a big rock in front of a hole in a hill.
The first rock. Now that's what you call a museum piece.

Nope. My dad won a bar fight once though. That's the closest I have.

Then there's Halo 3 which has hardly any campaign focus.
After Halo 2 they stopped trying with the campaign.
Then there's Halo 3 which has barly any campaign focus.
...a game that has hardly any campaign focus to it.
With Halo 3 they forgot people play the campaign.
Yeah, see, that's the thing. Halo's story was never the main focus of the game. The campaign is expected to be there, but it's not nearly as significant as the multiplayer, which is what Halo revolves around. Most players only go through it once or twice, then move on to the meat of the game, the portion that keeps them coming back. No game developer can sell their game to all types of players, but they can sell it to the largest type - which gives them more incentive to put more time and effort into the multiplayer and not the campaign that most will only go through once. Halo 4's piss-poor gameplay is what happens when they put all their money into the story (which I didn't think was that good anyway).

Dank af yo

Finding Nemo is as dank as it gets. But seriously, how did 'dank' become a thing?

The real question is, why did anyone want a remastering of Halo 2?
hm.. maybe because halo 2 kickstarted the wild success of xbox live? because it was the most competitive fps game of the 2000s? hmmmmmm
Yeah, so? The game itself is still awful.

Being honest here? I don't know.
Frankly, I'm fucking amazed Traviss didn't kill off Arby in Kilo-5. And if there's one thing I'm remotely happy about regarding that trilogy, it's that she didn't kill him off.
So. If 343 kills him off?
Imma be fuckin' pissed.
I'm with you there >_>
Considering how much demand there was to have him back, I don't think they'll be stupid enough to make that big a mistake.
But maybe they'll amaze us with their stupidity....
Actually killing Thel off in itself isn't stupid, however killing him off stupidly is well... stupid.
He's the most interesting character they have, though. (By a loooong margin.)
That doesn't change anything even if he was.
Killing off their best character would be a terrible fucking decision.
>implying There's other interesting characters besides Thel.
There were, yeah. There was Cortana. And Johnson. Both are dead though. Hood is pretty interesting - hopefully he appears in Halo 5. Thel is still the most interesting though.
So are we just going to pretend the EU doesn't exist or what?
It's generally for the best, yes.
Nope
Only the good stuff
Which is most of it.
The Bungie books were meh-ish. The 343 books were well written, but not well thought-out.

Hard to say. Sometimes I'll like one song and hate another song that sounds similar. Usually there's no real deciding factor - I just know that I like/dislike a song, even if it's something I usually don't listen to/love listening to.

In Spider-Man for the PS2 (the first one), there was this awesome cheat that allowed you to play as Harry Osbourne in the Green Goblin suit. It wasn't just a change of costume--all of your special maneuvers were changed. So, instead of web-swinging, you had the Goblin's glider, which had turrets and missiles and fire-bombs and shit. You yourself could throw grenades, razor bats (that have their own AI) and run fast as hell at the cost of some energy.
Harry's voice actor (who is unfortunately not James Franco) even re-did all of Tobey Maguire's lines in the game.
And his ability to fly was overpowered as all fuck. Really fun, though.

Cheat codes were awesome. Nowadays there's either an option for 'cheats' once you beat the game (which means they aren't even cheats) or there's no cheats at all, which sucks.
I remember that old Spider-Man game from 2000, where you could get infinite webbing and one-hit-kills, but I forget the codes themselves. I also recall Godzilla: DAMM, where I didn't feel like unlocking all the monster myself, so I used a code and that was that. I was a lazy bastard.

Hopefully become an author. Writing is my only real skill and I've already put years of time and effort worldbuilding for the novel I'm attempting to work on.
Yeah, writing's the only thing I have going for me currently, maybe music. And I've also put a few years into worldbuilding for a trilogy idea I have in mind. Sci-fi, or fantasy?
A little sci-fi military thing. With vampires. It's better than it sounds, or so I hope. I started working on it back when I was 14 or 15, when I was on YouTube bashing Twilight because that was the cool thing to do. Somebody apparently objected, because they told me I couldn't write anything better.
So I'm doing exactly that. It's come a long way.
Speaking of which, I got linked to one of those fake FBI spam sites about two hours ago and had to close down everything, including the chapter I was working on. I tried opening it again after I used SpyBot and Malwarebytes to clean out the shit the site put on my laptop, but I couldn't. I thought had I lost it all and almost threw a shitfit because it was over a hundred pages. Then I found an older version that had everything up to the previous chapter on it, which means I only lost a few paragraphs, thank god.
Edit: and now I have the rest. All is well.
Nice. Military and vampires, huh? I can see it working out pretty well. Do you think a movie could be made from it if it takes off?
If it sells, I sure hope so. I have a ton of story ideas thought up and a multi-millenial timeline planned, so there wouldn't be any shortage of potential films, but that's only if it's successful. That was actually a problem I ran into early on - I was treating it more like a movie or a video game than a novel. I wasn't writing with the level of detail I should have. It's inspired by a number of action movies and games - think Underworld meets 40k meets Halo, with a little Dead Space and Metal Gear thrown in, so it was easy to get caught up in writing fight scenes and all that, which I'm good at. The downside was that I skipped out on dialogue and detail, which I'm not so good at, so I resolved to write it barebones at first and edit it all when I'm finished and add the details then.

The real question is, why did anyone want a remastering of Halo 2?
nostalgia
Nostalgia for what? Shitty gameplay?
Because gayme had online multiplayer
Yeah, but...see above. Exactly what were they looking forward to? Bullets curving around walls to hit them?
