My problem with Spider-man is that he's repeatedly "beaten up" by the writers and he isn't given a proper "resurrection" (for lack of a better term). He's constantly getting shit on, and his life is basically defined by his failures, but he's never really given any time to fix himself as a result.

That's exactly why I like Daredevil, actually. He's like Batman, if Batman actually lost anything and had legitimate shit to brood about night after night.

Maybe I'll have to go out and buys some DD comics. Anything you recommend?

"Born Again" is a must-have. It's considered the greatest Daredevil story ever written. Actually, any DD story by Frank Miller is worth reading. Brian Michael Bendis also wrote some great stories too.

You must not know about my great dislike for Frank. Everything I've read of his has just... well, sucked.

I know his Batman stories were shitty, but I though BA was really good.

Alright, I'll give it a shot. I'm trusting you on this one, Plotmaster... Don't fail me.

Btw, what are your thoughts on the TV show for DD? A lot of people are liking it, but then again, a lot of people like Avengers, so...

I've only seen the first episode, so I can't really say I have any real opinion on it.

Daredevil, John Constantine, Animal Man, Martian Manhunter, Beta Ray Bill, and Atrocitus.

Manhunter > the rest of your list

But to be fair I don't have much experience with your last two choices

Beta Ray Bill is Thor if he were a cyborg alien horse. That makes him objectively better than Thor in every way you can think of.
Oh yeah, now I remember him. He was in Planet Hulk. Yeah, from what I could tell, he was pretty cool.

Atrocitus RAGED so hard after he lost his family (and the rest of his section of space, but mostly his family) that he made his own Red Lantern battery and Corps and started killing the Guardians of the Universe. He's like Kharn the Betrayer with an omnipotent piece of jewelry. I like that he actually has legitimate reasons for being that pissed off, since the Guardians are a bunch of little blue assholes.

Lol.

I always hated the whole Lantern shit, man. It was never my bag. Especially after I found out about the orange lanterns.

Larfleeze is amusing when written well. He's just rarely written well.

"Joker specifically said he'd kill him if Batman showed up."

...Does she expect Batman to walk in through the front door in broad daylight? If Batman doesn't want anyone to know he's there, then nobody will know he's there.

wow, so the person who arguably hates memes the most indirectly created a meme...that's interesting

That isn't a meme, just an in-joke.

I don't watch his videos, but I hear he donates a lot of the money he makes to charity. Good for him.

Reapers might be able to take the UNSC via numbers. Might even put up a decent fight against the Covenant, but probably wouldn't win.

Both at once would overwhelm them, and the other ME races are basically irrelevant.

The mg franchise confuses me

If you played them it would make a bit more sense

Until MGS2, then nobody knows what the fuck is going on.

And then they went ahead and had him defeated in the most anticlimactic way possible.

Alongside Firefly, Harley, Two-Face, especially Deathstroke, and my personal most hated, Man-Bat. So much potential for a man vs beast, technology vs natural weaponry boss battle completely thrown away.

Edit: oh, and the Knight himself. Forgot about him.

Pyg is far and away Batman's creepiest bad guy when it comes to physical damage. It's about time he got some recognition.
