Sure, in the same sense muttering 'that's terrible' to your TV when you hear about some recent tragedy counts as 'doing something about it'. Wrong.
When conversing with people over the Internet, you are relaying information. Durr. You might just relay the information to someone who would actually be willing to do something about it. Shouting at your TV is useless because no one can hear you.
Same deal here, only in this case it's less that nobody can hear you and more that nobody gives a shit. You can have the most brilliantly-written point ever, and it won't change the fact that nobody else on this site wants to join you in your slothful armchair protest. I just tweeted at Capcom, by the way. Can I be in the sooper cool uber progressive getting-shit-done club now?
You're doing better than you were a minute ago, certainly. Do that more, with more people who care, more widespread, and you might just affect something for once.

Black projects?
One of our most secret, in fact.

Arguing on the Internet is doing something about it. Get over it.
Sure, in the same sense muttering 'that's terrible' to your TV when you hear about some recent tragedy counts as 'doing something about it'. You can smile and think about how much good you're doing while I can smile and think about the boobs that will be in the game despite your efforts (or lack thereof).

A nerd that's obsessed with Japan and thinks it's superior to their country of origin despite not actually knowing shit about Japan.
Exactly this.

There are TONS of girls who do not appreciate this sort of shit. The whole feminazi movement should be enough to convince you of that. Okay. Are any of them actually hurt by fictitious breasts, or are they whining about shit that affects literally nobody? It's stupid and immature, sure, I agree with that, but exactly how are they harmed? Nobody is offended by Ryu's torso-sized biceps or Akuma's borderline-deformed pecs. What stands out about Mika's bizarre and impossible figure? I find it amusing, personally. Now that probably sounds like white-knighting or whatever but I think it means something to say that I do this for everything that I deem an issue. I acknowledge that. I'd have more respect for it if you were willing to make actual progress instead of posting the same sort of thread that's been made dozens of times before on this site. No matter how many times you repeat it, you won't change anything. That's exactly my point. The only thing I can do about it, is talk about it. Protest.
Or as some people would say it, exactly what I'm doing right now. There's loads you could do. I illuminated a few of your options in my last post. If you really feel this is an issue, do something more than just complain somewhere they won't find it. You say you care about women and how they're represented, but trying to argue for them in such a half-assed way is just insulting. I don't expect them to.
But people on their forums? On Twitter (where I'm pretty vocal about it as well)? On their YouTube channel or article comment sections?
I can't tell you how many developers follow the same people I do, and read the same articles I do, and look at the same comments I do. I'll make you a deal. Rally people on Twitter, on their YouTube channel, on Capcom's website, anywhere that will have a real effect. When you've made a real difference, I'll concede on the matter. I'll even protest alongside you. Does that sound fair? Even if one person takes away what I've said here today and says "Hmm, you know what? He was right?" I've succeeded. Yet it's still all for naught if you're unwilling to do anything about it.

If I can logically demonstrate something to be wrong, it would be irrational to disagree with me. Most of your arguments boil down to 'because I don't like it'. Which is inconsequential, really. But anyway, I'll get what I want, and you won't, so I suppose I still win no matter how well you argue. Funny how life works out like that.

can we step back for a moment to just look at how far off the rails this thread has become
I think you scared Plotmaster off from replying to me
which is a shame because I feel like I have a better chance of "converting" him than you do
because you two obviously don't like each other
It isn't Jakeybear himself that I dislike, it's his retarded insistence that everyone think the way he does. "I hate sexuality" is a perfectly acceptable thing to say. "I hate sexuality, and so should you" is just silly.

What you're telling me is that because something doesn't affect you, it doesn't matter. If you believe that, well, you're a sociopath. A little sympathy goes a long way. I'd be more sympathetic if this hurt anything aside from your oversensitive morals. Why not both?
They weren't going to get my money anyways; I don't really like Street Fighter. What do I do about it if I can't "vote with my wallet"?
Oh wait, exactly what I'm doing. Well then, there's little else you can do about it from here. They're not going to read anything you write, so you're wasting your own time. You could donate the $60 you could have spent on the game to charity, if you'd like. That'd be a more worthy use of it, I think we'd both agree, and much more important than exaggerated female anatomy in fiction. I've already explained the domino effect of our discussion.
Even if you repost this same thread on every forum you can find, you still won't change anything. But hey, if you're willing to do something about it, go ahead. Are you going to write to Capcom directly? Start a petition? Try to rally outside Capcom's headquarters? That'll cause them to rethink it.

Right, right, that would take effort, and you refuse to do actual work. I understand.
Or, it's not a big enough issue.
stupid fuck
You bring up your loathing of sexuality frequently, so it must have importance to you - enough that you insist that everyone else hate it as well. You're just too lazy to really do anything about it. Easier to stay on the internet grumbling about it, eh?

Hey, if you're going to take a stance on something, you should go all out, right? Absolutely. What does that have to do with anything?
oh yeah fuck all
Going out in the streets =/= Going "all out" on your stance about something.
Try harder.
Right, right, that would take effort, and you refuse to do actual work. I understand.

And you're a lazy armchair protester who won't actually change anything. What a pair we make.
right, brb let me just head out to the streets to rally about this fucking video game bullshit

What will arguing about it accomplish?
It may convince more people to be vocal about it. If more people are vocal about it, something good will get done.
But I like boob physics. Boobs are wonderful. This is a great thing. It's not a perfect solution but it's better than taking things as they are and doing nothing. If you have a more effective alternative I'll gladly make use of it.
Not buying the game will send more of a message than complaining about it here. That'll remind them that they won't get your money if you don't like how they design the game. You've made your point, I get my fanservice, everybody wins. (Well, mostly me. But there's really not a whole lot a few anonymous internet guys on an obscure forum completely unrelated to Street Fighter could do about it anyway.)

What will arguing about it accomplish? bitching about shit over the internet has proven to be quite effective in changing developer's minds, actually
for better or for worse
On a large scale, sure. One or two people on a forum only a few dozen people use won't make any difference. I guarantee Capcom isn't even aware any of us exist.

I know not a lot of Japanese do this, what I mean to say is that sometimes they take the whole "Sexy Woman" thing way to far, it's not the first time it's happened.
So your point is that we should just ignore it because it's not an isolated incident?
What will arguing about it accomplish?

Guns are trivially easy to acquire where I live. I know a place where I could buy an automatic rifle for a little over $600. Damn near anybody could walk in and buy themselves a military-grade weapon if they felt like it.

In fairness, I'd be going through the motions too if I had to work on the same series for two decades. He never intended to go past the first Solid, so he was basically making it up as he went when all he wanted to do was move on to something else.

I like fighting games, and I also like boobs. If I can look at the latter while playing the former, even better.
Kill yourself.
Maybe later, when there aren't boobs to stare at.

Not really a spoiler for TPP, or at least not one of any significance but I'll mark it anyway. Apparently the POV character at the start of the 'Not Your Kind of People' trailer is That's not even a spoiler. Kojima said that during an interview ages ago.
I know, but I didn't know if anybody here didn't, and I wanted to play it safe.

Because ten is better than one.
Ten cancers.
I turned those cancers into brownies...then ate them all.
