as i have stated, i was having issues running the game, so i ended up having to order a new copy entirely
which took about a week
then mgsv came out, and i stopped updating because i figured people would be too busy playing that
i haven't actually played in weeks
That was mostly a joke regarding the level's length. But don't worry, if you follow Deci's tips you might be able to beat it in less than a day.

The extra nickname for Punished just seems... very unnecessary. Unless it's like Big Boss and his thousand nicknames like Naked Snake, John, Jack, Saladin, etc.
I've been wondering that too. Kojima apparently couldn't decide which he liked better so he went with both.

Ocelot flat-out states that he's 'in love with the legend', just like Quiet, who was Venom Snake's poorly-written and incredibly forced love interest in TPP. That is, he views his relationship with Big Boss the same way Quiet views hers - and she wanted to see Snake's snake the whole game.

My friends just played through the entire series and they didnt know he was gay
So...
It's made clear through his Gaussian image of Snake at the waterfall (commonly used in '60s romance movies), as well as Volgin's 'fallen for him, have you?' comment that he doesn't deny (after he expressed disgust at Eva's oversexed outfit and manner, rather than allurement), his eating of Snake's food because he thought it'd make them similar, and Eva's comment about his obsession with Snake (but Snake doesn't have a clue what she's talking about). It was never explicitly stated, but then, it never really had to be.

Mostly because i love ocelot
typically i don't enjoy seeing my favorite characters get desecrated
not that ocelot is one of my favorite characters, i barely know him
but that logic is odd to me
Ocelot is a gay character and hes infatuated with the snake family
I also dont considee it desecration because its a mod so. . .
Much like Strangelove, he's Boss-sexual. Which is rather awkward seeing as how Big Boss was basically his adopted brother, which means he flirted with his nephew in MGS4.
