"I await the sweet embrace of death to escort me from these disgusting manchildren."

In life you have no name.

But through death you can earn your name.

If you can't appreciate Halo CE,

then you didn't like Halo CE.

I don't think anything else needs to be said.

I think the concept was more based off a 1970's novel called Ringworld, rather than flat out trying to one-up star wars.

Ringworld, Star Wars, and Alien were the three biggest inspirations. Also the flood were based on the vang from some series I can't recall the name of.

It makes sense that Big Boss' genetically identical son, whom he raised himself, would end up being exactly like him physically and audibly.

Well, they're not genetically identical. And Big Boss did not raise David, so. . .
Within 5% difference genetically iirc.

Wait, what? When in GotP was this stated? There's less than 5% difference between a human being and a chimpanzee. Most humans who are completely unrelated to each other have a 99.5% genetic similarity or more.

Is this more Kojinetics at work?
Very beginning of Act 3, think. Naomi explains why Liquid Ocelot was looking for Big Boss's corpse, and it was the biometric key thing. The camera pans to the computer screen, where one clone had a ~3.5% difference and the other had a ~4.5% difference.

If the twins had a whole 1% genetic difference they would never have been able to pass off Liquid's corpse as Solid's, even if they're physically identical. That wouldn't fool any serious test.

And if they were 3.5 to 4.5% genetically different from their father they wouldn't even be human.

So, I think we can safely file this under confirmed Kojinetics.

The genetic differences are so minute that they could fool any test. For the most part all of the Snakes are genetically identical.

I can understand the voice, as I sound exactly like my father, but they already committed that sin when they made Naked Snake look identical to Solid Snake. Kind of lazy.

It makes sense that Big Boss' genetically identical son, whom he raised himself, would end up being exactly like him physically and audibly.

Mainly the difference is Krav Maga seems to be prolonging fights in a martial arts way, rather than disabling the opponent.

That's the exact opposite of what Krav Maga is supposed to do. It emphasizes taking the other guy down as quickly as possible.

Quote
The way my father and others implement it is you want to disable them as fast as possible. That means dislocating muscles, bringing them down to the ground, breaking arms, etc.

Exactly.
