Oh man, I'd love it if every president was actually a Templar and every assassination attempt in history was actually done by the good guys.
Well thank Christ you're not a writer.
A) I was only semiserious and B) I am a writer.
And besides that that's still better writing that the entire bit with Desmond and those aliens and all that bullshit.
Still cliche as fuck tho.
So is the rest of the series.

Or to, you know, continue the modern day story
That would require them to make good modern day characters and good modern day gameplay.
Guys. I got it.
I know how Ubi can make good modern day gameplay with good characters!
The next assassin's creed game is set in the far future.
Wait, no, just stop right there. That sounds much more interesting than going back to 2015.

I, too, still use 7, and I, too, click the little x whenever the offer to upgrade appears every time I boot up my laptop.

A little off the beaten path, but what series is that character in your avatar from? I think I've seen that art style before, but I can't recall where, and it's been bugging me for the past ten minutes.
She's from an anime called Katanagatari
Thanks, that question was the most irritating thing gnawing at me.

Out of all examples of the reality failing to live up to the idea, even TPP is eclipsed by Destiny.

We knew.
You knew? You knew all along and you never told me?
Of course not. You needed to come out on your own.

i hope you know that just because you're pursuing a CompSci major doesn't automatically guarantee you anything once you're out of college, and it's a shame that so many people have this mentality. just study what you're passionate about and let the rest fall into place.
That's the problem. We don't live in a society where doing what you're passionate about pays the bills.
Passion second, bills first.
Try as you might, you can't escape it. The only slightly better chance somebody has, is doing the whole pay the bills routine, while still juggling what they're passionate about.
If they're lucky, in the long run, their passion stands a chance of being so honed and well defined that it can instead pay the bills while staying as a passion at the same time.
Most peoples' passions involve self-fulfillment rather than contributing to society in some economically meaningful way. Working skilled labor gives you the income necessary to express your passions in your free time.
Unfortunately the farther along your career you go the more it bleeds into your personal life until you don't have much free time to do things with.

oh man there's this mod for Fallout New Vegas you would love
Spiders are bros. When I was younger a giant fucking wasp stung me on the hand, and since unlike bees wasps don't rip the stinger out of their ass and die when they sting something, the smug little bastard flew away and I couldn't do anything to retaliate. It flew up into a corner, landed in a web like an idiot, and a spider crawled out and bit the fucker in half. Then it dragged the top half of the wasp into a crack in the wall and probably ate it. What a hero, avenging me like that.

You bet it does. More spiders than you can imagine.
Be honest please

Funny how Reach and Destiny get away with literally THE SAME EXACT thing without so much as a peep
A lot of people did hate Reach's unlocking system.

It's since been established that the flood are basically magic. Making a wormhole bigger would be trivial for ol' Gravy.

Don't tell me you don't know Adub. Adub practically runs this place.
I learned a couple months ago, fuckboy.
You learned a year too late, though.
