That's because when the Flood does return, humanity will have advanced significantly. Every soldier will be on the level of a Spartan if not every person. And by that point, significant advancements will have been made elsewhere.
That doesn't exactly balance out the solar-system-carving space swords the flood can bring to the table.

I fucking hate Superman TBH he's a bigger Marry Sue than fucking Kirito
He was kinda meant to be a Gary Stu though. And a lot of stories deconstruct him anyway (Kingdom Come is a good example). And he's still not as much of one as Batman.

I used to have three cards that, when used together, gave me infinite life points. Yugioh is such bullshit.
what
how would you even lose, then
decking out?...
And if you have Exodia Necross and some cards that stop monster effects and graveyard discards, you have a monster that can't be killed and gets more attack points every turn.

They are gathering resources and then will use ALL UNITS to warthog rush your bases.
Not if I rush your base with the Arbiter before you can rush my base with your shitty cars.
Aha! I knew you would do that, that's why I have Power Turret Spartan Tanks ready for your Arby. Git gud.
>game literally just started how

Remember when the story boiled down to some guy and his imaginary friend running around a space donut fighting aliens, robots, and zombies? Ah, the good old days.

Even in the webcomic, Saitama is S1-tier. The only person that could go toe-to-toe with him (in universe) would be himself. That's less impressive than it sounds considering most of the other heroes in the story are regular people with some kind of gimmick. Tornado is pretty OP though, that's clearly obvious. Atomic Samurai, Tank Top Master, etc are also super powerful, gimmick or not. Being a part of the Hero Association isn't even an accurate measurement either, as there are other powerful entities outside it. Hell, Spoiler regarding an S Rank hero King isn't even a hero, he's only an S Rank because the HA gave him credit for Saitama's work.
We do have to remember that OPM is first and formost a comedy thay excels at taking the piss out of power-level seinen BS. If ONE ever explains the source or limit of his power, expect it to be very bullshit.
He did explain it. 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and running ten kilometers, every single day for three years. Which actually isn't that intense even in real life, but logic is never a factor in this not-so-serious series.
He only got that power after that, not leading up to it. It's hinted relatively often in the manga that there's more to his power than he realizes.
Regardless, it doesn't matter how he got his powers: that was the point of his hilariously underwhelming backstory of getting it. He's immeasurably strong, and nobody can even put up a decent fight against him. Even the Boros fight was disappointing for him, as Boros knows that he didn't even go all out in his one punch.
He broke his limiter.
There's a theory that every person in the OPM universe was born with a certain limit to their power. Saitama was born to be a nobody, so his limit was very low. Miraculously, he beat Crab Man even though he wasn't supposed to, meaning his power surpassed its destined amount. Since he surpassed his only limit, his power is infinite.
Although that's probably what you're talking about lol
Yeah sorry, I just generalized it the scientist who witness his own creation get destroyed explains how every human has a limiter and that Saitama broke it making his powers infinity and beyond, I need to reread that as well. (It's great to see people who have read the mangas.)
OPM was actually a rare case where the anime was both well-done and accurate to the manga. Even still, the manga is so fun to read, if only for Murata's illustrations.
I actually enjoy One's illustrations as well tbh
The best part is that he's actually a really good artist, it's just thay OPM started as a series of doodles he made in his spare time.
His art is intentionally unimpressive, which causes people to assume it's nothing special after they hear about how great it is. Sounds familiar, eh?

Hell, Spoiler regarding an S Rank hero King isn't even a hero, he's only an S Rank because the HA gave him credit for Saitama's work. Do you think King's luck would somehow counter Saitama's strength? I figure King would somehow survive by sheer coincidence no matter what Saitama hit him with.

Saitama is kind of ridiculously broken, he's the Japanese Superman Prime.
So I think it would tie between Saitama and Supes.
Sadly, Saitama lacks the ability to fly, he might also have a problem in space.
He could throw his glove and use the subsequent force to propel himself back to Earth. He's also shown the ability to breathe with little to no oxygen, judging by his quick trip to the moon in the Invasion arc.
I've discussed/watched people discuss the Boros battle too many times.
Or he could just jump back to earth, will his serious serious serious punch be able to scratch/hurt superman prime though?
Unknown, he's never used anything more than one serious punch, and that was against the most powerful creature in the known universe.
There's not enough information to give Supes and Saitama anything other than a tie.
Doesn't Superman know martial arts? If I recall Garou knew where One Punch Man was going to move but, since he was still slower than him one punch man could still dodge him. I could be wrong I'll go reread that part again.
He does, and he's a fuckton faster than anything Saitama's fought so far.

1 - For every three wishes I use, including this one, I get three more wishes. 2 and beyond - Probably trivial shit at this point.

The problem with Saitama is that we've never seen his upper limit. He has good feats but he's done them all effortlessly, so it's pure guesswork how strong he is when he's actually trying. We could pretend those feats are his upper limit (though they're obviously not) for sake of argument, but that wouldn't be any more accurate than pulling an upper limit out of our asses. As of now, he hasn't done anything Post-Crisis Superman couldn't easily do even without a 15,000 year buff, but again, that doesn't really mean much.

The latter three are irrelevant while Superman and Simon spend the rest of eternity taking turns out-awesoming each other.

Speed boost stacking is objectively the best tactic
Speed boost stacking + speed boost armour ability + ravening sliver + overshield is the equivilent of injecting a cocaine fueled rampage into your system.
When sprinting your lunge range can beat Halo 2's energy sword.

Ok to be fair I am playing Injustice
And then this mean motherfucker shows up spamming lightning bolts like an asshole.
Green Lantern's back-A covered half the damn screen.
Most of the characters in the game have some broken move or mechanic. I guess the trick is using your overpowered moves to overpower the other guy's overpowered moves.

Metal Gear isn't that difficult to understand
If you've been following it game to game maybe. Try jumping into 2 or 4 without any references.
How many other developers need to release an entire encyclopedia just to let new players catch up? Not many, I'd wager.

When people ask for help on some academic problem but don't pay attention when I explain it. Apparently they don't actually think they need any assistance, and I'm too annoyed to bother repeating myself. At least I can take some amusement in watching them struggle when I've just finished walking them through their problem, but I'm still irritated afterward. I don't demand attention - I usually flat-out dislike it - but they shouldn't ask for help if they're not willing to listen. That's a complete waste of both my time and theirs, and I hate wasting time.
