Nier is the most sleeper of sleeper hits. Maybe this'll give it the recognition it deserves.

The Flood / Re: Could you be a Herald of Galactus?« on: February 17, 2016, 10:39:40 PM »Does the process of harvesting planets produce suffering for those being harvested? Sorry I didn't explain this well. It's getting late and I'm struggling to keep my eyes open. Let me elaborate a bit, if you want it. Planets with life on them have energy that Galactus feeds on, not the life itself. That energy is what's making the planets capable of life, so they die as soon as he eats it, and everyone on the planet goes with it. Nobody actually gets harvested, any deaths are just a consequence. 2649
The Flood / Re: Could you be a Herald of Galactus?« on: February 17, 2016, 09:59:53 PM »Does the process of harvesting planets produce suffering for those being harvested? You'd die because there's no longer a planet to live on. Maybe it's the explosion that gets you, maybe it's suffocation in the void of space, maybe you'd get hit by debris, I dunno. He doesn't give a shit about the people living on it unless they can somehow fight back against him. 2650

The Flood / Re: Could you be a Herald of Galactus?« on: February 17, 2016, 09:55:28 PM »Does the process of harvesting planets produce suffering for those being harvested? Galactus gets the munchies and sends a herald to warn a planet of his approach. Sometimes they can mobilize and evacuate. Usually they can't. Everybody living on the planet dies while he destroys the planet in question, but they're pretty much just a footnote to him. He does this to prevents an even worse entity from escaping his prison and using the universe as a condom. Except Galactus can fucking create planets with life on them so he shouldn't even need heralds. Why would you demand your kids bring you food when you have a fridge right next to you? 2652
The Flood / Re: Could you be a Herald of Galactus?« on: February 17, 2016, 09:48:17 PM »
Galactus needs planets with life on them to feed on.
Galactus can create planets as well as life. What the fuck. 2654
