Cryptum and Silentium are the best Halo books.
Silentium is good. Cryptum is not.
Primordium on the other hand is the single most boring book ever written by mankind.
Can't dispute that. It took me months to slog through it because I could only read it in two or three page intervals.

One semester I had to take a bus to get to the secondary campus that a few of my classes were held at. I didn't get out until late at night and most of the students either lived near the secondary campus or drove there themselves, so I often found myself alone at the bus stop, which suited me just fine. It was a little isolated area for me to unwind in at the end of the day.
Which made it rather annoying when a couple of drunk girls sat down next to me and insisted on talking to me. Since I'm such a charismatic badass, I responded with one or two words at a time and awkwardly tried to make it clear I didn't feel like talking. Apparently I didn't pull it off, because they kept chatting with me after we got on the bus.
About ten minutes later I got up to leave when one of them asked me if I wanted to hang out with them at their apartment, which should have alarmed me more than it did. I declined partially since I still had work to do when I got back to my dorm, but mostly just because it didn't really register what the weird drunk girls asking me if I want to hang out at their apartment late at night were implying.
I mean probably nothing would have happened even if I had understood and accepted, but I still felt clueless and got lambasted by my friends for it. I give myself points for having my priorities straight though.

Ah, whimpering submission to the status quo disguised as a reboot. It won't be enough to save their sinking ship, especially since the guy that made the promo for Fresh Start recently jumped ship for DC before it even started. He must have been laughing his ass off as he drew it.
Immortal Hulk looks sick though.

The Ottoman Empire didn't fall, someone flicked on a light and those roaches skittered under a rug.

I'm still wondering who has the soul stone.
That one hasn't appeared yet, as far as I know.

I thought it was pretty good, but that's probably just because it's the closest I'll ever get to an SCP movie.

I didn't get the promotion. They told me I was the top performer of the year and that I knew the information better than them... So I don't really understand why I didn't get it. Oh well.
Happens sometimes
Spoiler Note: I didn`t have English tests, they just assumed it from my CV and ability to understand other quizzes I guess
Ugh. That kind of stuff hurts my head. Like why build me up just to tear me down?
Because you're the top performer of the year and you know the information better than them, and it'd be inconvenient if you started thinking of quitting because they tore you down. They probably knew before you even walked in that you wouldn't get the promotion no matter what you told them.

Tall, black hair, piercing green eyes. She's intelligent, ambitious, and commanding. She expects everyone's A game and doesn't fall for anything. Doesn't put up with shit.
Pick two.

The more I think about it, the more I don't think it's a thing. Like I just can't picture being with someone because of how uhh... for lack of a better word, retarded I am. I don't really know how to be with someone, so I can't imagine a dream person
Yeah but anyway happy birthday.

Is there an anime you think wouldn't be better told in some other medium? That is, were any of them enjoyable because they're anime instead of merely enjoyable despite being anime?

I was writing and coming up with my own fictional universe last year but stopped because I ran out of ideas
What helped me was showing my work to a friend and having them ask questions about it, since more likely than not they'll ask things that you haven't considered and don't have an immediate answer to. That's good, because those questions will give you a new perspective to help you rethink your story. Same as anywhere else, ideas in writing spring from coming up with solutions and applying them. I think that's what writer's block boils down to, not knowing the right questions to ask yourself.

Writing stories is mostly about putting obstacles in the protagonist's path. If you're not sure what to do next, try to think of what the worst possible thing that could happen to them given the situation would be, and write it. Then, try to work out how they'll get out of it.
Alternatively, skip ahead to what you know will happen and can put into words, and go back to that earlier part later when you've figured it out.

Never had a promotional interview before but I'll give it my best.
How have you improved the company since you've started working here? What do you contribute that others don't?
What do you consider your greatest accomplishment since you've been hired? What is your greatest mistake, and how did you overcome it?
If your boss or a coworker were asked to describe you, what do you think they would say?
