1. I went camping with my dad when I was 11 years old back in 2007. We were sitting around the campfire at night when out of nowhere we hear this loud sound. My dad and I couldn't tell what it was. At first we thought it was a jet but it was a clear night and we didn't see any strobe lights at all in the sky. It wasn't a car or any large vehicle on the nearby highway because automobiles don't sound like that. We couldn't tell if it was coming from the sky or the nearby mountains at this point. It was really loud and kept going on consistently for a long time too and we just sat there and listened.
The sound went away and it was time to go to sleep so instead of sleeping in the tent, my dad and I slept in my dad's camper in his truck because I was too scared. Then late at night, I had no idea what time it was, but that sound came back and it woke me up. I stayed awake with my eyes wide open until the Sun came up. The sound never came back after that night and we've gone back to that campsite multiple times over the years and never heard it again.
You know the funny thing is that around 2011-2012 people all over the world were hearing loud horn sounds coming from the sky and those sounds are almost exactly what I heard at that campsite as a kid. I still get chills talking about it.
2. This past July I visited Lake Tahoe with friends for the first time. The place we stayed at had 3 floors and some of us slept on the top floor which was almost like an attic in a way. There was a big window that you could see out of into the pitch black darkness of the forest on that floor. The first night there when we went to sleep I remember waking up super-late at night and felt something or someone pressing down on me as I was laying down. I couldn't move my body except move my eyes around. I remember that moment being very brief but it was super strange as I've never felt anything like that before.

i wanted it really badly so i called the, uh, car people and they said my model isnt compatible with it. which is lame
i know i could probably do some aftermarket shenanigans, but id rather not do anything not official... what is that called, oem?
this happened a long time ago, but i just remembered it now
Remote Start is a luxury feature that some cars offer. A base model probably won't have it but the higher trims will.
yeah we both have chevy cruzes LTs, but his is the sports model (it's called RS or some baloney) so i guess thats what makes the difference
RS stands for Rally Sport. Your brother's car has the RS tune in it which makes it a little bit faster than the base model.

2SS, so it comes loaded with all the luxury features. This baby comes with a 6.2 liter V8 with 455hp and 455 torque. Last night on the freeway I was going 80mph on the fast lane when some asshat came closer and was tailgating me. I move over and he barely goes fast enough to stay next to me. I wasn't having any of that so I put my foot about halfways down the gas pedal and my car accelerated like crazy. I got up to 120mph and left him in the dust in what felt like seconds.

Taking a break from modifying my car to sort out christmas presents and whatnot. Gonna be shooting for 400+hp at the wheels real soon afterwards though. Gonna see what this turbo can do before I decide on whether or not to chase after a 3076 gen II or equivalent. Also dunno whether I want external wastegate at this stage or not.
