Goodness gracious, great balls of lightning!
1. I went camping with my dad when I was 11 years old back in 2007. We were sitting around the campfire at night when out of nowhere we hear this loud sound. My dad and I couldn't tell what it was. At first we thought it was a jet but it was a clear night and we didn't see any strobe lights at all in the sky. It wasn't a car or any large vehicle on the nearby highway because automobiles don't sound like that. We couldn't tell if it was coming from the sky or the nearby mountains at this point. It was really loud and kept going on consistently for a long time too and we just sat there and listened.

The sound went away and it was time to go to sleep so instead of sleeping in the tent, my dad and I slept in my dad's camper in his truck because I was too scared. Then late at night, I had no idea what time it was, but that sound came back and it woke me up. I stayed awake with my eyes wide open until the Sun came up. The sound never came back after that night and we've gone back to that campsite multiple times over the years and never heard it again.

You know the funny thing is that around 2011-2012 people all over the world were hearing loud horn sounds coming from the sky and those sounds are almost exactly what I heard at that campsite as a kid. I still get chills talking about it.

2. This past July I visited Lake Tahoe with friends for the first time. The place we stayed at had 3 floors and some of us slept on the top floor which was almost like an attic in a way. There was a big window that you could see out of into the pitch black darkness of the forest on that floor. The first night there when we went to sleep I remember waking up super-late at night and felt something or someone pressing down on me as I was laying down. I couldn't move my body except move my eyes around. I remember that moment being very brief but it was super strange as I've never felt anything like that before.

Yeah it was weird. I even asked my buddies in the morning if they were fucking around and none of them said they did anything. They were sound asleep.

I was around middle school age (had to be 2007 or 2008) and I woke up from a nap on my futon. I went over to this stand in my room and a stick of deodorant randomly slid toward me while everything else on the stand stayed still. I had just woken up, so it was hard to process what happened immediately.

I would have had more stories back then, but I feel like they all can be easily explained as an adult that doesn't believe in anything paranormal. The obvious explanation is that it didn't happen and I was dreaming or something. But I remember it more clearly than any dream and I doubt I was in some half-asleep state, considering I had just woken up and was walking. Just one of those weird memories that have stuck with me over the years that I don't know what to make of.

I don't know if I'd say creepy. But it stayed on my mind for a long time afterwards. Down in the city of Victoria a couple years ago, I was passing through one of the streets that was sort of homeless/street performer territory the seaside. I caught this rubby kind of guy watching me from a bench. Made eye contact. I passed by and he said that he knew me. I asked him how or from where.

He asked how old I was and I said I was in my twenties. He just kind of laughed, said I was much older than that. I sat down on the bench with him and talked about a lot of stuff. Guy was a drifter with a mini-van parked alongside the shoreline where they still allowed homeless or travelling folk to park at night. Lot of different stories on him.

I guess what always really struck me was the eye contact. Looked at me like he was looking through me. I notice in many cities, people don't make eye contact. And if you see a homeless bum or a begger, eye contact's the worst thing you can do.

We knew the world would not be the same.
A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent.
I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita.
Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty
and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says,
"Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.."
I suppose we all thought that one way or another.
So my roommate when I first moved in around the beginning of December that year had this big 'ol angel fish. This thing in general was always kind of creepy because it would follow you back and forth and just stare at you, constantly, and do absolutely nothing else. It was always just waiting for more food I guess. You could feed it a whole bucket and it would probably try to eat it all if it was physically capable. It didn't have a name because he said his fish always die after giving them names, but we jokingly started calling it the creeper fish.

Anyways my roommate and I were both gone for the holidays, myself for about 3 days, and the tank heater conveniently broke while we were gone. The fish seemed a little off, but we thought would bounce back after installing a new one. Couldn't be further from the truth. The next few months was constant battles with different fish illnesses, medications and treatments I never heard of, and the fish would get slightly better then get worse again. Eventually sometime around April the fish reached a point where it just sort of laid at the bottom of the tank, only occasionally very weakly moving or turning around. Roommate was talking about some other treatment he could try and I had to sort of tell him that this thing was clearly suffering and needed to just die.

Unfortunately it took nearly two weeks from that point for it to actually die, and in its last days you could tell it was really only occasionally gasping. One night after my roommate went to bed, I was sitting at my laptop with the tank in front of me, screen mostly blocking my view. Just a few weeks prior that fish would've been floating near the top of the tank so it could constantly stare into my eyes. It was completely silent apart from the snoring through the wall and bubbling from the tank. And then suddenly, a loud splash and the fish was half a foot above the tank and THUD it hit the ground. Completely fucking lifeless. Just fucking dead. I bang on my roommate's door to wake him up and he thinks I'd just seen a ghost because I was completely pale- in a way I did.

And that was the end of the creeper fish.

Long live NoNolesNeckin.

Ya fuckin' ganderneck.
I've mentioned this here before on here but, a friend and I were sitting in his backyard late one night talking when we suddenly noticed some strange wispy apparition across the yard. It looked like some kind of small and lanky cloud of fog or mist lightly swirling as it moved and was it seemed to be faintly glowing. It almost seemed to move with intent and didn't disperse as you would expect something like smoke to do. It slowly moved across the edge of his yard until we couldn't see it anymore. A little while later we left his house to go somewhere and while driving to the end of the cul de sac to turn around we saw it again floating through his neighbor's yard. We have no idea what is was we saw. I've never concluded that it was a ghost or anything, I just know it wasn't anything normal.

I've also had multiple inexplainable UFO sightings but those are more exciting to me than creepy.
