I thought it was okay

no major complaints or anything, it was exactly what I was expecting

but I'm further perplexed as to how KOTM is the one movie in the franchise that seemed to get shit on by critics, when it's the only one that exceeded my expectations

maybe I should rewatch all of them

I’m mostly in it for the memes and the potential to piss off people at the idea of me making money off a joke currency.
hmmm i'd say go for it

Give me one justifiable reason other than: It’s a waste of money.
if you’re in it for the memes, go for it.

if you’re hoping it will take you to the moon, there’s probably better lottery tickets you can buy.

Was it Yolk? I remember it being a giant autistic shitpost.

there's an official one, but oddly enough the only people that really post in it are randoms that followed deci from another server

jono's is good but it's mostly users that are still active on these forums

i joined one a while ago with a lot of older users in it, but it was autism incarnate

i think challenger has one but i've always been blacklisted from it

i'm sure there's more

i can't think of anything noteworthy tbh; pretty consistently mediocre across all subjects.

i've always tended to score higher in math on standardized tests and lower in english, but oddly i'd consider myself more of a "right-brained" type person.

in general, courses i did the best in tended to require the least amount of time investment, and courses i did the worst in tended to require the biggest time investment.

no clue how we’d regulate it, however I’m sure it will go like social media where it kept growing exponentially and we didn’t start to see the problems until people were talking about civil war and storming the capitol.

but yeah, porn will be the major driver of this industry
I don't think that would be a good idea. Not a good idea at all.
if you’re referring to the last part, I don’t either

but it’s inevitable

IIRC, Melvin Capital already said they closed out so I don’t know who they’re thinking us still doubling down.
they think that Melvin lied to make everyone panic sell

this is plausibly true but it’s a gamble

I think the main reason people keep saying it’s a lie is because they’re in over their heads and want to believe it’s a lie

dangerous times

You guys have life savings? I thought the absolute vast majority are living paycheck to paycheck assuming of course that you did not lose your job due to the pandemic and are waiting for that stimulus cheque.
I do but I’m in a pretty fortunate position, compared to a lot of people.

But yeah, that’s all the more reason not to yolo money at meme stonks based on Reddit and tiktok’s advice.

The people investing don't have anything so they can't lose anything.
The only people losing are ones that can already afford to lose millions and still live like kings.
This narrative is really toxic for retail, considering how detached from reality and based on conjecture it is. We don’t know what the current short interest is and we don’t know whether the squeeze will happen. Retail is a small fish now, and even then I saw someone claiming that there were more people selling than buying last week. The fact of the matter is: people throwing their life savings at this price do have something to lose, and if it comes to that you’re not sticking it to billionaires, you’re donating to them.

Personally I have shares and will hold, but I’d hate to see people on here lose money on the advice of a mob of novices.

Don’t know whether the GME ride is over

WSB seems to have become an echochamber of inexperienced and emotional investors

edit: of course after I post this, it starts rising. Just be careful lads if any of you are in.

So how did everyone enjoy Hedge Fund investors getting absolutely BTFOed over the last week? Melvin Capital reportedly lost at least $5.05 BILLION.
The real BTFOing hasn't started yet.
