If you actually read the thread it's more about a lack of character shown when compared to initial reveals of other characters that makes it feel like tokenism. Actually read an argument before you try to interject. Because right now you're arguing in favor of tokenism and calling those who support minorities having expanded roles in films instead of filling diversity quotas racist.
The problem here is that you seem to think tokenism is some bad thing that should be avoided. Let's remember that this is a Star Wars film. I don't see how being black is going to ever be an integral aspect of a character where aliens and robots exist.

In all fairness, that topic is really only covered in the EU. Took me quite a while before I actually found that out.
There also is the fact that it's pretty obvious the Stormtroopers weren't meant to be clones in the OT considering they all have different voices and the officers don't even have their faces covered..

Its a decent trailer.
It may be shit, but it's still better than Forced Diversity: The Cast, Progressive Pandering edition, the cringe worthy bad guy voice acting, retard saber, soccer ball droid, and the movie canon ignoring dialogue.

Something tells me the rioters didn't sit down to rationally weigh out the pros and cons of their actions before they started.
There were peaceful protests but violent gangs used it as a guise to go rob and destroy stuff to get away with it.

How does this change your view on the typical 'dumb republican stereotype' the majority of you hold? It doesn't. Unfortunately an education doesn't educate you on all subjects, therefore a college degree doesn't equate to political astuteness.
