I’ve got 5 audible credits I need to spend before I can stop my subscription if anybody has some good non fiction recommendations.

Off-topic but it’s quite the grift they’ve got going. I don’t want to lose my credits, but also don’t want to spend them on something I’ll never read, so I just continue to get charged $15 a month.

I thought Don’t Look Up was pretty entertaining, if you don’t mind fairly on-the-nose political commentary

you could skip Matrix Resurrections

Frankly I'm just shocked this place still lives on after what 7 or 8 years now, especially since this was such a niche community to begin with.
agreed

but then again, the mlp off-site started before us and is still very active, while not even trying to get new members
Holy shit bronies are still trending?
lol I think they stopped branding as an “mlp group” a long time ago, I just think it’s funny that’s how it started

I’d be surprised if we’d even be able to afford a decent venue at Disney world, and that’s with Ian’s employee discount.

There hasn't been a lockdown where I live since the first one ended in 2020.
same

we had a semi-quarantine for a month or so around March/April 2020, and virtually nothing since the vaccine

Must be a slow news day
I’m not in the media and I thought a President handwaving threats against his own VP, because of his blatant lies, was pretty newsworthy.

"Why is Trump still talking about emails? Move on"
If there had been an email uncovered, a couple months later, where Clinton tried to justify the actions of the Benghazi terrorists, would you have thought the subject would be worth revisiting?

I pretty much never try to hold it in, unless I’m in a car ride or movie theater or something. Pretty sure it’s bad for you to do so.

The Flood / What is the first movie you remember looking at critically?

In my mind this would be a movie you saw at a young age, that you were excited for, and didn’t just blindly enjoy after watching it.

For me, it’s x men the last stand

Either be trapped on an island for 1 trillion years, or be responsible for the torment of 99 people.

I’d probably just kill myself tbh.

Just of the anime girls you post about

Spoiler
mostly new stuff for my apartment and various payments I had to make, but also I feel like I’ve been blowing more money that usual when I go out with friends

Nothing super noteworthy that I can think of.

I’ve been spending a lot of money recently, so I might just try to chill.

I (think I) got invited to a friend’s bachelor party next week where they’re going to Georgia. I’ll probably pass though because they were saying it would cost 1k-2k just for admission. Not sure if that includes the plane ticket and everything.

We’re going to have a big poker tournament/Halloween party on the 23rd so that should be cool.

My friend group is in a softball league and I’ll usually go watch them on fridays.

Also I’ve been tailgating browns home games on sundays.

Just moved into a new apartment recently so still getting settled.

Also worth noting that he goes on to not recommend a second dose to 12-15 year old boys.

This narrative that “there’s problems with the vaccine and nobody wants to talk about them” is flawed at best.
