The Flood / Re: Who do you side with during the Sep7agon Civil War?

I fit none of those...

Quick question though.. Is a drug abuser someone who throw's a bag of weed onto the highway or someone who smokes it on occasion for some R&R time?

Gaming / Starwars D&D
« on: March 25, 2015, 08:16:31 PM »
After the last D&D session where our level three characters got wiped out by three Ogres.. (My character literally exploded or vanished into the ground, because he had 1 hp and was dealt 17)

My little D&D group decided star wars is the next theme.

Who and what should I play as? I doubt we are going to follow the move/book story line, but it'll either take place in the same, or alternate universe.

I'm also trying to find the online sources for it.

And I'm sure we'll hear on the news.. "This is the fourth time I've lost my home and everything in it to tornadoes.. but I will rebuild."

*Mega Facepalm*

Why would you want to live in areas that it is inevitable that your house gets demolished once or twice every other year!?

The biggest problem is its too easy to hack. You can edit your Save file and be done with the game in an instant.

Destiny was on sale for 30 bucks today and I needed to use a $15 coupon by the 31st. So I got it for cheap.

My question is, what do I need to know about this game?
You got the game at its true value. $60 was too high for that game.

This is why I don't like to fly. I'd rather take my chances and drive, even though a wreck in a car is more likely to happen than in a jet. The problem being when a wreck happens in a jet, the loss of life is always higher.

So the fact that we have idiots means we should punish every single person in a state by revoking disaster preparedness funds? Really.

If anything it'll cost more in the long-run; FEMA is still obligated to supply relief.
Either way, joke is on them in the end.. okay.. actually its the tax payers either way xD

Gaming / Re: Game market crash when?
« on: March 23, 2015, 07:34:46 PM »
...that's not how the industry works.

Gaming industry is bigger than Hollywood at this point. GTA V made a billion dollars in 3days. There is money every where, not to mention a thriving indie scene.

That's because a movie sells usually at $20-$25.. while a video game sells at $60 -_-

The two party system was never meant to happen.. If you look at America's past.. we use to have around six main political parties?

The Flood / Re: In 500 years what will change?
« on: March 23, 2015, 07:27:20 PM »
Halo kind of surprised me when I first played it,  in how it portrayed humanity. Still using ground vehicles with wheels, guns with bullets, all of that.

It's 500 years into the future, and we still use bullets! Do you think we will still be using weapons with bullets, or will we have moved on to something more advanced? Lasers? Something else?

How about vehicles? Will we still have cars like we do now, or will they double as aircraft?
Without a doubt, most of our arsenal will be energy based. The projectile guns will be a antique.

The Flood / Watched that new RoboCop on netflix the other day
« on: March 23, 2015, 07:18:38 PM »
I don't understand how anyone could hate it. Yes, they didn't do everything the same way the original did, but it was a great reboot.

Spoiler
Why?

The incident that turned him into Robocop was WAY more realistic than in the original. In the original, he gets shot like a billion times, loses an arm and then shot in the head all around the same time. He was literally DEAD! In this remake, his car blows up right next to him, causing 80% burns over his body, the lost of a leg, arm and blinded in one eye, but he was still ALIVE!

Now, I didn't like the faggot look with one of his hands still being organic, thought that was dumb.

Oh and in the original, his family knew nothing about Murphy surviving, while the family in the reboot was involved with Murphy being rebuilt. The wife consented to saving his life and the family got to see him and love him again.

Only other complaint was the ending was a little weak.

Spoiler
I also loved how the started the movie off with a little juicy foreign warfare

The winner is Wall E. Now it will be up to the students if they earn or lose this rare option for this upcoming Friday
you teach 2nd graders?
Assistant , but this week, I'm the closest thing they have. I'm hoping to give them a fun, positive reinforcement week.

60 years ago: "You can't do this, this, this, or this. You are black, after all."
Today: "You can't do this, this, this, or this. You are white, after all."
Can't wait till us white people get to play the race card and get special leeway/treatment : )

Sports brings in more money than science, that's why. It doesn't matter if you deem science more valuable to humanity, it isn't as profitable in the short term.
And sports is also far more boring than science.. At least science has a variety.. You have the lame sciences.. such as Geology and then you have the epic ones like Biology, Chemistry, Astronomy, the beat goes on.

We honestly should be placing our bets on which Scientist will make the next big breakthrough
You can't really compare them.
You can sit down and watch a game of football, for example. You can't sit down and watch fusion research.
And sports has a huge variety. Just look up a list of different sports, and you will see there is plenty of variety.

And betting on breakthroughs sounds boring as fuck, and wouldn't work.
I think those fun Science channels would like to prove you wrong : D. Sports get so repetitive, Science keeps changing and expanding. Entertainment should be dynamic, not static and repetitive.

Actually.. America's culture is what exactly? I think our culture is shit.. We won't allow ourselves to have one, unique, genuine culture.. and this melting pot has and is proven to be a failure.
You're fucking ignorant as hell if you think the US has no culture. The US has more culture than every other country in the Americas combined.

You probably don't even know what the word culture means.
Calling another ignorant without knowing the person, in person, would also be ignorant. Therefore, we must both be ignorant. I do know what culture is and if America wants to ban parts of its own culture, like guns, can you truly say we have a culture? After all, guns is a big portion of our culture, because without those weapons (And some help from the French) Great Britain may still be in power and control this land.
