Just had a good relationship with them in the past. Bought accessories and built an old laptop of mine with them many years ago.

This is just insulting beyond comprehension. This ignorant ass wipe just lost a long time customer. Look at the rest of his Twitter page, nothing but stupidity leaks.

CORRECTION: He is actually not the CEO of Dell.

Got mine this morning from the PR guys. Played a little bit before work, and wow wow we wow! The first encounter with the Xenomorph is absolutely terrifying! The game is perfectly emulating the Riddly Scot film to the T. The most scary moments are not when the Alien is on the screen, its when you feel like it is stalking you.

You find yourself dreading to turn around, or even pull out that motion tracker. Even when you just catch a glimpse of it, like seeing its tail pull up into an air duct--you cannot help by say out loud "Oh shit..."

IGN's review seems utterly retarded. One of the negatives was the Alien having unpredictable AI... What?

It seems interesting but not worth the full price tag.
I hear that the encounters with the alien are little and that they're the only fun parts of the game anyway.
Well, I have been offered Review Copy. But I am torn on it.

How is the story and endgame in this? I've watched quite a few videos and streams of the game, and I always just see people working on killing (elite) captains and trying to get an infected orc in some warchief position. Is that it? Or is there an actual endgame where there's another board after the warchiefs with familiar characters or more interesting stuff?
The endgame is like any other open world thing. The Nemesis system replenishes and you can go and do the missions you missed.

Just beat the game... Lower your expectations for the ending.

Considering the time period it's set in there was no way you were going to get good ending out of it. You can't exactly do anything to profound or it would have been noticed by the rest of middle earth.
not like that really. Its the execution. Its all QTE CRAP.

Love hearing these stories!

I am hunting a War Chief named Azsog. I branded a captain to become his bodyguard so I can overwhelm him... Well, turns out he has 4 other guards! So after leaping in, i get pummeled left and right. Eventually I get so bogged down that I had to retreat.

After doing so, my branded Captian is killed. And now they are crazy powerful!

Now here is a very interesting PC Indie game! If you played LA Noire and like it, then this game is right up your ally. Its an investigative/atmospheric/exploration game that DOES NOT HOLD YOUR HAND!!! It is very clear about that right at the beginning. There is no tutorial, you just have to figure things out as you go. Luckily it is not complicated to do so...

You can quickly discern how things work together just by observation. You explore the breath taking environment for clues and then piece them together as they happened in chronological order (may not be like this all the time). it is certainly a gratifying and eerie undertaking to be solving a murder is such a gorgeous place. There are no real complex control's and it feels like the developers played Dear Esther and wanted to make it—fun...

The only complaint thus far is the shaky quality of the voice acting. The main narrator does a good job, but once you hear the first set of acting, you can tell its kinda amateurish. Its not cringe worthy horrible, but its not great either. :-\

It is a budget game on Steam for just $20, but it has me very intrigued and I immediately thought that this was worth it (even though it was sent to me via PR peps). It is an Unreal engine game, so it should run very well on most PC's. I sadly cannot crank it up to max, but my current settings have my drooling.

I may do a review on this... Depends on my inspiration.

This is a screenshot I took moments ago with my current settings.

What place around your immediate area serves up a fantastic Burger?

Since South East Texas is deprived of In&Out, and there is one Five Guys about an hour away from me. The best I have is Whataburger. Always get the A1 Thick and Hearty! Meat, Cheese, Onions, Bacon and all topped off with A1 Steak Sauce.

Found something else thats very cool. As time passes by, the Orcs that you face will age! I have been killed and harassed by this War Chief several times and it looks like he is aging!

How does it feel in terms of repetitiveness? Assassin's Creed tends to be very repetitive in its mission style, though the settings add diversity. I was getting the vibe that it would have a few types of missions that would be used over and over.

How long do you see yourself continuing to play this game?
I can see myself playing again and again. The randomness of the Nemesis system makes encounter unique. A total nobody can become a War Chief, and the sort of bond you develop with ones that kill you over and over makes revenge all the more sweet. Mission styles are not like Assassins Creed for the most part, for sure not like Black Flag where lots of it involved following.

The whole game is based around killing Orcs, and it does it extremely well.

What console did you get it on?
I advise anyone here buying it for either xbox 360 and ps3 to wait, a lot was supposedly cut for them versions.
PS4. Runs at 60FPS.

In the land of Mordor, far from the dormant fires of Mnt. Doom a Ranger of Gondor sets out to take revenge upon the armies of Sauron... The story of Shadow of Mordor may not sit firmly in the lores roots, but man oh man does it tell it well!

Wonderful voice acting from Troy Baker (once again) and all of the Uruks sell this games setting and makes the story come to life. For the most part. What really gets everything going is the fantastically fascinating Nemesis system. It gives every Uruk in the game an identity and a memory. Giving deep meaning to the failure state (when you die) and makes every encounter more personal.

For example, I was fighting a War Chief, he called in his troops and he got my health down to bottom. Right when I get back up, and nobody Orc with a spear and shield impaled me, after his taunts he was then promoted to Captain. I learned his name, and later on—his weaknesses.

The first time I sought revenge, I tossed him into a pit of fire and then he proceeded to run away. I could not chase him, because I had another Captain that came up behind me... SO after all of that, I found him again—he recalled me burning him and almost dying. THAT. WAS. AWESOME!!!!!!

He died shorty after... With one arrow to the face.

The games combat is for lack of a better work—thrilling! In many cases it does a better job at replicating the Batman games than the Batman games do themselves. It is all so well done, that the Assassins Creed guys really need to get ahold of it! THIS is how you do sword combat!

It does not provide you with an always win button, it takes perseverance and cunning to survive in Mordor. Death is never a failure, its just the game making itself better!

Look for my Video Review soon!!!
