YAYYYY!!!! Gametrailers review answered my question. The Orcs WILL remember your past encounters, right down to the wounds that you give them!

Many people know who I am... But here goes, I am Austin! Got pointed to this place since B.Net has royally gone to shit. I do game Reviews, and all kinds of other stuff. I mostly just like to kick back and reminisce on what was lost with the bygone glory days of 90s gaming--sorta.

Made a two part series several months ago. I figured that many of the new people needed its help.

How Not To Be A Noob Pt. 1

How To Be A Badass Pt. 2

One thing I want to know... Will the Orcs still remember your past encounters? Like you burning or wounding them.
I remember watching a developer video where they mentioned this. If you burn them or something like that they will remember and become more resistant the next time you encounter them.
Exactly! I have not heard a thing about it since. That will be the first thing I test out, and will be in the review.

We all (hopefully) know and played this legendary FPS back in the 90s. If you were to play it today, undoubtedly you would have to try and rewire your brain around its controls. With that 1 analog stick on the N64 controller, it gets pretty difficult to do almost anything these days.

I remember having my left hand on the stick, and my right on the far right D-Pad. Tried it, screamed bloody murder, ran into EVERYTHING!!! Now I just wonder, what were they thinking when making this controller? Or better yet-how did we even play this?

Never could really get into it. Liked it! But it couldn't hold my interest...
