Gaming / Re: What games have you been playing lately?
« on: December 09, 2014, 06:33:27 PM »
Battlefield 4, Skyrim and a little Titanfall.

Though I haven't played much recently. I'm spending most of my free time writing.
Never thought I'd find another person also still playing skyrim

I play it on occasion, I often have big Skyrim obsession right before the winter.
Ha, the right season to play that game.

We don't really get winter in Texas, just Spring, Summer, and an exceptionally long Fall.
And all in ONE DAY! SETX has that problem big time.

I was playing Unity, but I fell through the damned map one to many times now! My game is just flat out broken and it is going back, it may have been a Review copy but who gives?!

Other than that, I am going back to The Forest, and (if I get it this Christmas) Sunset Overdrive!
Download the patches then genius.
Haz no internet to download said patches. Even if I used my hotspot from my phone, It will destroy my data allowance and dive my bill super crazy high.

Why exactly are you worried about letters almost 18 years old?
Return them to their roghtful owner. Would be cool to do.
Why? They're nearly 20 years old. If they meant anything to anyone then they wouldn't have left them.

You're just wasting your time.
Nahh. Perhaps they forgot? Perhaps they are in a rush? Who knows.
It was 18 years ago. I'm 100% positive that the letters mean absolutely nothing to them at this point in time.
If they wanted them they would have gotten them themselves years ago.
You never know dude. Never know until you try.

Ok, this morning my wife and I were digging around in our attach and we found some personal effects. They are letters and photo albums belonging to a woman named Mary Sue Senn who was then married to a man named Christopher Harrold.

We found letters dating back to 1997 when the man was just entering Basic Training at Ft. Jackson. They were sent to RT 9 Box 723 Sour Lake, TX 77659

We want to find these people, so does anybody have the ability to lend assistance? Or give advice.

I dont think its particually realistic to hold a classic game like this to todays standards. Its near impossible for them to reach since times have changed in every single way.

Anyone can make a YouTube video. A monkey could make a YouTube video. It's not hard. It's not work.

You tell a physician, a doctor, a lawyer how truly difficult it is to shit out a shitty YouTube LP video for the masses and see if any of them take you seriously.

And you have to understand, I'm talking strictly about let's players and shit right now. Like PewDiePie.

1. its actually much harder than you think. Sitting in front of a computer for hours editing, recording, and gathering ideas can be pretty hard work. Trying to produce a quality video that will garner lots of views is tough, and most of the time is does not happen. Most people on youtube wont become big like TB or people like Roman Atwood.

People put lots of time and effort into these things with their fingers crossed that it will take off. The pranksters, musicians, film producers like Freddie Wong work their asses off to make this stuff.

2. I understand what you're saying about the LP people and for the most part thats true, its pretty easy to do. Its just their personalities that take off and become enjoyable to watch. And can you really fault them for being successful at what they like doing? No! Thats insanity! If a person becomes a hit over the smallest thing that they do, then thats awesome.

Fantastic game! The world is so beautifully detailed and easy to get sucked into. Minn is a wonderful villain, but the story is mediocre. Characters are not given enough screen time for you to care, and there will be instances where you say "uhh who are you?"

I don't watch youtubers.

Personally, I just feel like every one of them is in it for the money.
I only make about $20 a month...
You're not a big YouTuber though.
Still a YouTuber.

Well I recently gained more time to check things out, BUT, I am also juggling the YouTube portion.

As for my opinion: Yutaka seems to be on here regularly, so why not bump him up to a Ninja?

I saw a few around here for a few hundred dollars. But they are not repro. My Mosin Magant was made around the time of the battle of stalingrad.

I was only three when it came out, so didn't get to play it in its prime. There was a Goldeneye remake a few years back, but if they stuck to the Halo remake formula (toggling between old and new) it could have been so much better.
Well that really wouldnt have worked with its feel. Plus it was a Wii game. Then it was ported to ps3 and 360

LOL!!! I saw that soooo much when I was playing BF3. All they had to do was flank to their right and its over for them. But nope, they decide to make it a cluster fuck zone.
