So it was announced a few days ago finally. This is probably the only upcoming game that I have any degree of hype for. I haven't felt any sort of anticipation for a game since Dark Souls 3. I just hope they release it on Steam. I'm not really a fan of having to use multiple different game launchers.
I've heard people complain that it looks more like a BL2 DLC, that the graphics aren't really improved much at all, but honestly I think the graphics are perfect and I don't really care to have much more than an updated BL2 experience with new characters, guns, and a new campaign.
Edit, whoops can Flee or Cheat move this shit to gaming, idk why I thought I was still in that forum when I posted smh.

I'm sure most of you have seen the NPC meme that's gained prominence lately, which is basically just the idea of a philosophical zombie that has been around for a long time, and it's mainly just used as a way to poke fun at people with ideas or interests someone doesn't like.
Something I've heard when people have discussed it, however, is the idea of an "inner voice," which is basically just a person's tendency to speak to themselves within their own mind when thinking. Apparently some people claim that they don't do this and it just sounds really strange to me.
Maybe it's because I'm an introverted person, but I'm constantly "talking" to myself in my head when I think about something. Do people really just not use at least some form of language in their mind to define concepts when they are contemplating something? I suppose it's entirely possible.

Sounds pretty dawn awful if you ask me.The proposed regulations appear to have pretty grave consequences for the future of fair-use content creation or even just the sharing of information. A campaign has been established to push back against this, but apparently there's only one month before they vote on it.

Anyone ever just have bouts of terrible luck where shit just keeps going wrong for a time?
As soon as 2018 started I got sick, my pc has been giving me repeated problems every single day trying to update to a windows version that breaks my drivers and I can't play my favorite game online anymore because the servers are being blocked by some mysterious process that I can't figure out no matter how hard I try, my chronic health condition has flared up so bad I probably would've gone to the hospital if I had insurance, my last great grandparent died before I was able to visit him again one last time, I ended up getting esophagitis (and boy is that shit fucking painful) so I'm unable to toke right now which I use to help manage my piss poor appetite and consistent nausea, I somehow cracked my phone screen but don't remember dropping it at all, my truck has been broken down for over a month now and I can't afford to fix it, and a whole slew of other shitty little things on top of all of that.
Sort of feels like life is out to get me right now even though that type of thinking isn't something I am really prone to. Not asking for sympathy or anything, I'm just wondering if anyone else has periods of seemingly awful luck like this, and what you do to stay sane.

I'm definitely a small government person, but this is just one of those things that needs to be regulated I feel like. And apparently the new laws specifically allow for ISP's to block or throttle traffic from any given site? Sounds absolutely appalling for the internet.

Bought another pair of SteelSeries headphones because my current pair is worn to shit. (although they still sound great) After a month wait I receive the new pair (same color) and these fuckers are a cheap Chinese reproduction. The sound quality is garbage in comparison to the real ones, and the plastic is much lighter and less saturated in color. I should've looked into the vendor more, I just don't expect this type of shit when shopping on Newegg. They didn't have a terrible rating, apparently the reviewers just haven't owned the real thing to know that they're getting a fake. Now I have to deal with trying to return them smfh.
Have you ever purchased anything that turned out to be fake from a supposedly reputable site?
