I think it's good for people who don't own it/have older editions of the films. I'm in the same boat with that guy, torrented digital versions a while ago. I will probably get it once it drops down though, as I got the split-up versions of the Blu Rays, so I have no bonus features, which I love.

I don't even know why you're arguing. That's obviously not what I've been talking about or the rumor I was addressing.
I actually own these. All they did was take the VHS content and write it into a DVD. On any modern high definition TV it's unwatchable. It's exactly the same as hooking a VHS player up and watching that. It's stretched and zoomed in so much that the picture is totally fucked up, the audio sucks, and it's not at all what I've been talking about. High definition, high fidelity audio, theatrical cut. No extra explosions, Greedo never gets off a shot, no early Jaba dialog, no extra CGI assets in the Tatooine scenes, etc.
I have these dvds and they play fine on my new 50 inch TV. I just watched A New Hope last week. Either that guy has a shit DVD player, or doesn't know how to setup his TV correctly.

I can understand the "no" thing, but it's grown on me. Why dislike Temeura Morrison though? Makes sense, canonically speaking. Boba Fett is a clone.
Original voice actor was better. More menacing, gravelly. Sort of fit the Man With No Name vibe Boba Fett sort of had going on.
They didn't even have to change the voice. Accents aren't hereditary, contrary to what Lucas seems to think. All in all I just hate Boba Fett being a clone, there's more than one Mandalorian, I don't understand why they had to be so unoriginal.
Meh, I like Morrison's voice better. Besides, the clones in Episode II, III had the accents. Plus, Boba spent 10 years of his life with his father. He already picked up the accent. Anyway, Jango Fett and Boba Fett aren't Mandalorians in new canon. Jango was a rouge guy who adopted it's culture and wore the stolen armor, and Boba being a clone doesn't make him a Mandolorian either. As Lucas and Dave Filoni put it, he thinks it make him more badass to have killed Mandalorians and taken their armor to remind him of his father. Right now the only "true" Mandalorians in canon ( true as in warmongering, other words the pacifists would count) are the Deathwatch  and Sabine Wren.

A bit much for me, seeing as I already own the Blu Ray versions, so I won't be getting this until the price drops. How about you guys?
