If that's the box art I'm disappointed.

Everyone knows that only a proud Imperial Stormtrooper is to be displayed.

Doesn't look like a box art to be honest. Too dark.
It fits the style of BC2, BF3, and BF4.
Really I like it, but I just need a proud soldier of the Empire on the front.

It's too vibrant, and REALLY blue, and it has a strange border of black around it. Not saying it's bad, it looks good. But if I'm walking down the aisle, that game doesn't really pop out. It doesn't even look like Star Wars at a glance. You may have to study it for half a second or take a double take at it. It would be silly to have this as a box art.

It's great art, just not good box art.

So, this action figure of Clone Commander Wolffe will be sold at Celebration this year. It's very interesting, because based upon the design of the armor, I would say this is during the Imperial era. Especially since if looks like a varriant of this armor from Star Wars: Rebels.

So, we might still see some clones kicking around in Rebels. Pretty cool.

Nope. That particular set of Wolffe's armor is from the first episode of TCW Season Six's Yoda Arc, when they find Sifo-Dyas' ship.

EDIT: Here's an image:

Link, the image appears really tiny in my post: http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140313025617/starwars/images/b/bf/KoonWolffeFind775519-TLO.png

Ah, I forgot that Plo's troops were on that moon. Welp, there goes my theory.  Either way, The Balck Series figure looks really nice.

So while we wait for a new pic, what's your guys's favorite segments of the saga? Divide it up into PT, OT, Rebels, TCW, ST, EU, Legends.

For me it's:

TCW>PT>OT>Rebels>EU>Legends>ST

(I prefer OT story wise, but PT wins me over with how much it expands on the universe)
OT>ST>Rebels>Legends

I don't know what the other ones you mentioned are.
EDIT: EU is legends. Are you talking about canon content that's not the movies? I would lump that with OT, going by Era.
The other ones are Prequel Trilogy and The Clone Wars.

And I wouldn't really put the EU with OT, considering a good portion of it is during the Dark Times Era.

And all Legends is EU, but not all EU is Legends. People are starting to categorize them differently as such now.
I refer to canon content (outside movies) as being part of the New canon. EU is Legends. New material outside the movies isn't being referred to as EU anymore, and to avoid confusion I don't think anything canon should be called EU.

Lol you seem to consistently underestimate how much of a Star Wars fan I am. Believe me, you don't have to explain anything at all to me.

Well, I don't really know you :3

Turns out we play as this guy in campaign you guys

Still more story than Battlefield 4.
Battlefield 4 was probably one of, if not the, worst campaigns I've ever played. The writing was so damn awful.

Speaking of bad wririting, a new Junior novel for Rebels came out about Zare. Looking like the Empire find out there was a nigger in the army.

Lol. Can't be any worse than those Boba Fett junior novels.

Those were the shit back in the day.

I've been reading the Darth Vader comics to build hype

Well, what do you think? I like them a lot, personally.
I'm on #3 and it's awesome so far. These are canon, right? It's nice seeing him be a total BAMF again
I like that they adhere to ANH, and don't make Vader supreme commander of the fleet right off the bat. In ANH he wasn't as powerful as he is in TESB. Seeing Vader do some scheming on his own is really cool.

Here's what's canon:
Films
All Marvel Star Wars comics (released 2015-forward, thus far we have Star Wars, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, and Kanan: The last padawan)
The Clone Wars
Rebels
Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir
James Luceno's Tarkin (novel)
Heir to The Jedi (novel)
Lords of The Sith (novel, unreleased)
A New Dawn (novel)
Star Wars: Aftermath (post ROTJ novel, unreleased)

And then everything going forward.

I want to read everything Sith and Empire related, they are the most interesting I think. I find the Rebels pretty boring tbh. Need more Bounty Hunter stories too.

Then you want:
- Tarkin ( mainly Empire shizzle )
- Lords of the Sith ( Palpatine and Vader have some good dialouge just from the preview. Vader also remembers Ahsoka and such)
- Darth Vader comics (Sith planning against eachother is always fun)

I was pointing out everything that had been released thus far, I included the unreleased novels because there a re a load of similar sounding ones out there.
Besides, all anybody's interested in is the MP, and there's no story to speak of at this point.

I'm getting it mainly for story. It's Star Wars, so even if DICE does their usual campaign shill, it will still be awesome.
There was actually a leak regarding the game's story.
Spoiler
The game's story will involve something generic and of little consequence to the rest of the Star Wars universe.

Seriously, you do know that "DICE's usual shill" is bad, right? Not trying to be super negative or rain on your parade but the last game with a good story was BC2 in 2010.

Not every Star Wars story has to be a major plot point, especially in a game. As long as it's fun, it doesn't matter to me.

we need Dark Souls: Pajama Sam Edition.

Because teaching children that they can take a stick of butter from the kitchen and lube themselves up with it to fit under a door is good wholesome education.

Are you telling me it isn't?

hot damn
Looks like he's equipped for zero-g combat. They're selling an exclusive space trooper figure at Celebration, where Battlefront will be revealed.

I think there's a connection.

Guys... I think we're getting zero-g infantry combat and boarding actions.

Boarding actions you say?

Seriously speaking though, I imagine this will be the "Marine" unit for space battles.

896
With how terrible the schools are it'd probably work.

I mean I learned more about history from Assassins creed, Civ, and etc then I did at school. At school they just talk about indians and the beginnings of america every year.

American schools try to make the children feel bad for what happened. Like "YOU DID THIS, YOU PIECE OF SHIT!"
I remember I brought up to my chocolate flavored classmate that there were white slaves and prejudices toward the Irish and Italians. He looked at me as if I had KFC bucket full of watermelon.

897
They could make History lessons a lot more engaging with games of Total War/AOE/COH etc >.>
geography/topography lessons and replicating architecture in minecraft

hnng

Yeah. 5/6 classes will have that. Then you have that one cunt that gave it on technology back in 1952, and still uses a chalkboard.

898
This has been happening for years. We just need better games for the classrooms to make it more engaging for the kids.
Instead of Oregon Trail, we need Dark Souls: Pajama Sam Edition.

So? You get limited campaign missions, and a low amount of players to play with online. My guess is other options such as Galactic Conquest could be locked too. And it's only 5-10 days early. Who cares?
