343 is releasing images slowly around the web. So far, it looks as though we get to seem some of Locke's team, and Blue Team is confirmed. Should be interesting, seeing as how they hired the lead director on Republic Commando, which had an awesome squad command function.

Gaming / Re: Gaben is doing an AMA on Reddit talking about paid mods
« on: April 26, 2015, 11:00:59 AM »
Gamers are the most entitled shits sometimes.

Because Valve is monetizing what use to be a free feature of PC gaming, banning people who speak out about it, removing mods that want to stay free and let people donate to them instead, telling modders its ok to use other peoples work in their mods if they're free (which forces people to monetize their mods so Valve can make more moolah), and basically destroying the modding community by removing the incentive to share resources and collaborate on projects?

Then don't use their service. It's not that hard. Speak with your wallets, not raging on the internet.

You realize that "speak with your wallet" doesn't actually work right? Shit that's bad for the industry will still sell because there are enough uneducated and stupid people out there that companies can get away with it. In this case Valve is getting money for doing absolutely nothing so this initiative can't actually go in the red. Not to mention that Valve basically as a monopoly on the market so if you're going to do legit PC gaming you have to go through their service.

Next you're going to tell me that trickle down economics actually works and the "free market" will actually solve a damn thing.

Don't buy Valve products or use their services. You can list your reasonings why on the internet, but doing just that doesn't affect anything. Look at Microsoft and the Xbox One. People complained for months, and Microsoft told their fans to shove it. Then after E3 when Microsoft saw the Xbox One was not doing well in preorders, then they changed their polices.

Money speaks, and if you think it doesn't then you're just uneducated.

It's not bad for the gaming industry. It's bad for Valve. This is a PC centric topic. Consoles will still have the industry thrive. You can still easily buy games and products outside of Steam if you're a PC fag. Or better yet, still use steam, just don't buy the fucking mods.

We can do do both you know

Well the AMA proves that crying on the internet won't work, so don't waste your energy. As well, I went through Gabe's comment history, he only answered like 15 questions ina thread with over 7,400 posts. What a joke.

Get shrekt Gabe.

Berzerk, the thought of shielded Destroyer Droids with Sniper Rifles is terrifying.
If you have that then for balance you loose the shield.

Couldn't find a video without shit audio, so just mute it or something. Even in canon, these things are overpowered.

Why do so many gamers do nothing but whine on the internet and then buy the game they were complaining about.

You people need new hobbies.

Jesus, she is disgusting looking.

If only they struck him down before he had his way with the originals. We wouldn't have that cringy alien rock band in RoTJ that has no purpose if they did.

No more cringy than Yub Nub IMO. I'm glad we made the trade off of Lapti Nek for the new celebration theme.

Why the hell was my thread merged? Why not merge all the Battlefront threads then? Fucking mods.

Anyway
AT-ATs' are not fucking playable? Tell me that's a joke.

They are A.I. controlled kill-streaks essentially. Same with the Y-Bombers you saw in the trailer.

2. Classes. Yep, there are not classes in Battlefront. You know what is in it? The same reason why Battlefield and Call Of Duty is shit, turing it into a noob game. You heard me, why would they take out the class system? because Battlefront was competitive, it was fun to play, it's one of my favorite games to play even online. With the Classes gone, this will mean that the competitive in Battlefront will turn into a fucking casual game, DICE is marketing casuals and kids. If you think about it, it makes sense.

While I agree with most of your points....what? Since when was Battlefront a competitive game? It's always been a fun and casual multiplayer game.

They literally could have just ported Elite Squadron, making the transition from Space and Land seemless ( Elite Squadron had a 5 sec cutscene, but was pretty good for a PSP game) and it would have been a fucking success.

You  really are one of the worst posters.
Oh yes I'm one of the worst posters on this site for having fun just like anybody else on this site. I forgot threads like "What color is your dildo" is a quality topic. Even though there's a decent amount of users on this site that make retarded threads I'm just the one that stands out for it. You're right. I am one of the worst posters on this site. I'm on the same level as PSU which is a troll or Verb which is a angry kid that throws around insults all because I'm posting threads just like anybody else here. So what exactly changed since we left Bnet? My posting style here is the same as it was on Bnet and as far as I know you haven't been saying that shit.  All of a sudden this site comes along and I went from being the worst poster to now one of the worst posters. I'm thinking my thread about tea really must have set the angry Britbong in you off. That's when I became the worst poster on this site to you.

mad cuz bad

The Flood / Re: Imperial Center: The Star Wars Megathread
« on: April 24, 2015, 06:19:36 AM »
Notice that they renamed the EU to Star Wars "Legends". I'm hoping they capitalize on this and bring back fan-favorite characters, particularly Kyle Katarn for the Rogue One as the original thief of the first Death Star plans, though they've said it doesn't revolve around Jedi and Kyle Katarn was never part of Rogue Squadron.

As much as I love some of the good EU characters like Kyle Katarn, I hope they just come up with new ones instead. Kanan Jarrus seems like he was inspired by Katarn a lot. In fact, just slap a full beard on him and he's practically the same guy.

Also, Nar Shaddaa is canon.

Wasn't Nar Shaddaa mentioned in the prequels though?
