In Halo Reach we have Brutes but in Halo CE we don't see them even though Reach takes place before it. The same fleet that we encountered in Halo CE was the same one from Reach which would have Brutes.
 The Covenant ships in Halo 1 are all under Sangheli shipmasters. Brutes don't serve under elites.

MCC was rushed (servers, UI, etc. were bugged) but H2A itself has never really had any bugs.

Why Disney doesn't give us the unaltered, superior versions is beyond me.
Superior is the matter of opinion. However, current canon is based off of the altered versions of the films. If they released the unaltered versions, it could create confusion with the uneducated on which are canon. Plus, apparently at least, the original films are in such poor condition, you would be better off just watching the VHS versions. At least, that's what Lucasfilm says.

Combat was meh, not my type of thing. Dialogue was bad and I hate the voice actors for the main character. Plot was predictable. Not worth the $60 I payed, but it could be a nice pickup around $20 or less.

I've never seen such a simplified and non-immersive combat system.
This really does break it for me too. You get force powers as a Jedi, but the lightsaber is the same as using a regular vibroblade. Not to mention Taris takes fucking forever if you do everything. The game is very overrated, but still enjoyable to an extent.

A.I. technology has been developed a lot throughout the years, and we're at a point where they can think on their own (although extremely limited). Give technology a few more decades, and I wouldn't be surprised if thinking A.I.'s would be come the norm.
If such an event did happen, would society treat them like living things? Would they be, essentially, slaves to us? Is it morally right to do that to something that can think, even though it is a man made creation?
