A person in this thread is actually shilling for the removal of Kyle.
Shiggidydiggirydoo
Muh Valley of the Jedi that granted force super powers.
Kyle Katarn was a great guy, but was a in a shitty story which used game mechanics to write rule for the Star Wars universe. Worse than Force Unleashed.
TFU 1 wasn't even bad.
Having weird moments in the EU doesn't mean you have to remove a character. Just cut out the post OT shit since none of it exists anymore and get rid of the wonky stuff that exists before and during it.
That way you get to keep an established fan favorite character without having it mess with your new timeline.
>TFU 1 wasn't even bad

It wasn't. Sorry you didn't like it, but it wasn't bad.
Also
>linking a chan image
Just wait until that 404s.
It's on the archive. As for TFU: >Super duper secret apprentice >Is more powerful than the chosen one >Easily took down Sheev without breaking a sweat >Easily matched the strength of Darth Vader's robotic limbs >Only redeeming quality is the forming of the alliance plot >Forming of alliance plot implies that Sheev is sideways retarded, which completely contradicts his character Only autismo kids think that game was good. It's the same group of people who jerk off to their shrine of Karen Travis and have statues of "muh true mandolorians".

So at what point does this refute Plinkett? I'm 20 pages in and so far this is "waaaaah I don't like Plinkett cause he said bad things about my favorite movie", nitpicking "ANAKIN COMES IN AT 32 MINUTES NOT 45 PLINKETTS ArGUEMENTS ARE INVALID" and "my head canon says this so it must be true". The same can be said about your statement there. Technically you are nitpicking as well. It's all subjective. Oh and there's the whole bit where he's using knowledge gained from the books to explain things that weren't explained very well or not at all in the movie. Which ignores a big point of the dissection. What page? Been a while since I've read it, I'd like to look at that too. Another edit, but I just realized he completely skipped over the point of Plinkett explaining what a protagonist is and dismisses it as a bunch if nonsense The guy spends about 10 pages talking about the main character issue. He talks about it from his point of view and has a time stamp for when it happens in the video. He also stated in his intro that he's taking the assumption that you've seen and know these reviews already. I don't see the point your trying to make there. EDIT: What went wrong with that formating. Fixed it.

Why even live in a universe where Fett isn't a Mandalorian?
Why live in a universe where Boba Fett is a clone and not a badass ex-sheriff from a frontier world wrongfully accused of killing another lawman.
Fuck you Lucas.

Dumb as the EU could be at times that doesn't mean they couldn't bring back Kyle and have him not do stupid OP shit.
Kanan is a poor substitute for Katarn. Not necessarily saying Kanan's a bad character, but he's no Katarn.
Why bring back old characters and risk fans getting butt-hurt over them not being "written correctly" instead of just making new ones with new stories?

Kanan should've been the main character for Rebels.
Ezra sucks cock.
So did Ahsoka. Now fans love her. Give 'em a season or two to mature.

Pretty cool that they have Anakin's pod-racing flag that C-3P0 was carrying. It's poetry. The true megathread shall live on...
At least update the OP with current info.
Yeah when I have enough time.
Be sure to include The Clone Wars Legacy Material. That stuff came out more recent than the 1st season of Rebels, so it's still pretty new. Also, here's a more comprehensive visual list of everything canon. Courtesy of /co/

Did anyone here read Dark Disciple
it was good
Pretty okay. I didn't really like how Ventress went along with things, seemed kinds out of character. Plus, she died cuz of Quinlan, the worst Jedi ever.
Plus apparently she's really hot.

Better bald IMO.
The tattoos kill it
Ehh, I think it's just her face. Hair doesn't fit well.

Doing a Kylo Ren drawing rite now. Hope it turns out good.

Pretty good. Though with the shading you have on him right now, it reminds me of a Hunter in Destiny. Luke: "Kylo, you have to stop this! Come back to the light side!" Kylo: "Wut class u gun pleh"

We will all die and more than likely not leave a significant impact on the world. And even if you do, this world will eventually be vaporized by our sun, which will in turn burn out. The remains of our accomplishments will then become dust until it is inevitably sucked into the black hole at the center of our galaxy, forming a singularity. If you are absolutely lucky, you may remain a number in some file data base in some advance human civilization that managed to outlive out solar system.
Then if you take away religious beliefs, when you die you just end. Everything you are and everything you ever did just gone in an instant.
What's the point?
Would you rather have been immortal?
Yes. At least you can still think when everything around you is dead. You don't just disappear.

There are about 5 to 6 ongoing Star Wars comics in current canon right now. You'll have to be a bit more specific to which one.
EDIT: Just read it through that shitty water mark. Why don't they just make it part of the Darth Vader comic series instead?
There's one Vader Down issue that kicks off the arc, which is then continued by the Vader and Star Wars series.
That seems extremely redundant.

When are you going to make that rebuttal about how Plinkett is wrong?
He's overly pedantic and appeals to what worked in the OT as the only direction that could work too often.
Kind of silly to complain that a 90-minute deconstruction of the film is being pedantic.
Agreeed, but I'd hardly call the review a deconstruction. More like a slighty segmented rant mindless rant. But, enough about Plinkett. It'd be nice to have a Star Wars related thread that didn't get derailed into that conversation for once.

Clone Wars was suppose to be nine seasons, right? If I read correctly, it was going to extend into and a little beyond the ROTS chronology, which would've been fucking amazing. The Clone Wars would've depicted Anakin's fall to the dark side ten times better than the movies did.
The Clone Wars was planned to be 8 seasons long. It would have shown us the battle of Coruscant like the old one did. Then it would have gone past Episode III, wrapping up things with Rex and Ahsoka. In a recent interview, Dave Filoni says that all the stories are still canon, they are just looking for ways to release them. They'll probably release them in a comic book form after the Episode VII hype dies down. Right now Disney marketing is kinda pretending the prequel era doesn't exist in order to get maximum profit off the movie. But that shit will die down quick once they make their money.

Wait
I thought if you used kickstarter money for something other than what you promised you got in a shit ton of trouble.
I'm not exactly sure what happened to the guy, I quit long before that happened.

Still not canon.
Ayo. How about that motherfucking Rebels episode tho. I really didn't expect Gregor to come back.
I recognized him in the trailers. More interested in the Ahsoka-Vader thing goin' on.

That sounds like something I could've gotten in on if I knew about this game
Love that kinda stuff
Shame to hear it ended up that way though
Indeed. Only game I can think of that had organization and power structure as well as FoM did is Eve Online, but that requires a paid monthly subscription, time, and lots of money. Not exactly the most welcoming game.

My cousin used to play that in 09, looked really cool. Wish they didn't kill it.
Did you know his name on it? Probably knew the guy since the community was so small.

holy shit people that say they fucking cried during the trailer should seriously consider killing themselves
Literal autism I mean I'm a big fan of Star Wars, but even I realize it's just a collection of stories. Plus, we've had a constant stream of canon Start Wars content since 2005 basically. Why get so emotionally worked up about it?
