So the Alpha 2.0 update is supposed to go live next week. It will allow for multi crew ships and shit. I like how they are able to actually have multiple people in 1 ship walking around when dogfighting and shit. Not many games can do that.

Did you not play the original games?

Complete trash. It was advertised in interviews as the complete book animated. I bought it so that way my friend could see it since he never read The Fall of Reach. So fucking disappointing it stops half way through the book when sam sacrafices himself. What the fuck 343? First you ship Halo 5 as a bare bones game and now this?

Because nudity spreads disease. There's a reason why civilizations have used clothing since their inception. For stable body temperatures and to prevent disease.
Underwear isn't just so you cover up your sexual organs. When you fart, you let loose feces particles. Your underwear catches it. If there was no underwear, the person near you could inhale your shit particles, and then possible catch a disease as humans aren't supposed to eat human shit. Plus, do you want a mosquito bite on the tip of a penis? No.

People who say the stupid shit Tackel said have never struggled.
What does struggling have to do with it, and to what extent? I've struggled having to pay rent while on a low wage job. Does that count? Or does it have to be profound, like sucking a guy off for a couple of bucks to get a meal for the day?
Struggle doesn't make your life any less significant. You are still a blip in the cosmic calendar whether you are born into poverty or live a life of luxury. What's the point you're trying to make?
I'm saying no you don't understand what this or something like this feels like, and you're in here peddling you bullshit philosophy as if anybody gives a damn.
Kek. Glad to know you've been with me my whole life. 6 years ago my best friend killed himself when he was 16 due to parental abuse. It was his choice, and a stupid one at that. Approximately 2 people die every second. That's over 151,000 people a day. Yes, you and your loved ones will eventually be part of that statistic, and probably some already are. You might be part of that statistic tomorrow, a week from now, or 50 years from now. Life is short and insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Get over it.

And yet the people who say everything is worthless continue to sit on their asses behind their keyboards, typing up some asinine pseudo philosophy to make themselves think they are enlightened and have all the answers, and that somehow everyone else who thinks otherwise is ignorant or less of a person.
Yet these same people still continue to exist, and do not bother to stop existing. If life is so pointless, worthless, and devoid of enjoyment like you make it out to be, just end it already.
But then how will I play vidya and eat delicious food? Life is short and pointless in the grand scheme of things. Doesn't mean you can't enjoy it though.

Have a sister. She used to be critical thinking and full of common sense. She now attends a liberal arts college campus. It's like they brain wash those people. She's not even the same person I used to know.

I have no idea what the cause was. If you didn't know your friend was troubled, it doesn't sound like you were much of a friend.
I moved to a different state almost a year ago. Mental illness is incredibly difficult to recognize in-person, let alone over the phone. Either way, go fuck yourself.
Perhaps the separation from a good friend is what caused the seeds to sprout. You could have inadvertently caused his death, but you'll never know for sure. Either way, we all die. You could very well be hit by a car tomorrow, have a brain aneurysm, maybe get a small piece of space debris through your heart. Who fucking knows. Who fucking cares. Everything you ever do in your short life is pointless when put into the perspective of the universe. Even if you do manage to accomplish something worthy of note after you die, the planet you did it on will eventually burn and be consumed by our sun. The dust left of your accomplishments will then eventually be sucked into the black hole at the center of our galaxy into a singularity, making everything you have ever done even more insignificant than it already has been. Who cares. Also, fuck the people this thread. Just everyone saying "My condolences" or "Oh I'm so sorry to hear that...". No you aren't. You don't even know the guy. Don't pretend to care just because you can't add anything to the discussion. Are you going to lose sleep over this guy's death? Has hearing about Turkey's friend really emotionally impacted you that you can't function for the rest of the day? No it hasn't. Fuck off.

Angry Joe Logic
"Halo Reach is great even without Master Chief"
"Halo 5 only lets us play as Master Chief for 3 missions, BLASPHEMY"
Also this is one of the most cringe worthy reviews I had ever seen, Joe doesn't know shit about the Halo universe. Does he really think that it only focuses on Master Chief, sums up why I will always hate Master Chief fanboys <_<
Probably because it was marketed with Chief as one of the protagonists, and Chief is the face of the Halo franchise, so it would make sense to have your marketing point character be at equal, or greater, showtime in the actual game.
I mean, what would I know, I just thought about it for a few minutes.
Actually Halo games like ODST, Wars, and Reach proves that even tough Master Chief is not in those games, that doesn't mean that they can tell a great story. Don't get me wrong I like Chief, but still does it really matter if Chief has 3 missions and with Locke having 12? What matters is having Halo a great story.
Are you having an aneurysm? Slow down, and type out sentences correctly.
Chief is the overall protagonist of the franchise, and the main Halo games have always been about him. Halo 2 was one thing where we saw Chief 1/2 the time, but when the driving character in the story is used in 3/12 missions you have to admit that's questionable at the least. And with Reed's wonderfully less than stellar writing skills, it's a risk that shouldn't have been taken from a story telling perspective, and from an appealing to fans perspective a simply poor decision. Tell me, how many people do you really think go through the story like you, do you really think they want "a good story"? Or do they want "a good story with the guy in green armor that's been the character I've cared about for 10+ years"? I'd wager the latter.
I would say anyone getting the game with the sole intent to play campaign would want a good story, and would have some prior knowledge to the game's portagonists before hand. The issue is with how the game was marketed, or how Reed wrote it. Either one can fit. If it was marketed as "Something's activating these Guardians, Chief and this new spartan must team up to find out what is happening", then it'd be a fine story. This issue is, even in E3 gameplay trailers, it was market as Locke hunting chief the entire game because chief did some bad shit. Reed's writing is terrible. Why would ONI send a hit squad on and declare the Master Chief dead just because he didn't check in at his post? And why would said leader of the hit squad waste time in a fist fight with the best spartan, instead of just throwing the armor lock thing at him like he did with Buck in an earlier cutscene?

Star Wars should die, yeah. If for no other reason than to spite the fanbase.
6 more movies, 3 more seasons, and countless books, comics, and games are on their way baby. Star Wars will outlive you.

Also going to point out that Joe says "If you do good you'll get maybe 900 points per match". I guess Joe's definition of doing good is a .2 k/d because that's what shows up in the background. A normal warzone round for me nets about 2k req points.
Players that are pulling in 1k/2k a match will still need to clock in 400 odd hours required to complete every cosmetic. Joe explicitly takes a caveat to his playing ability and the capacity to earn req points later in the video. The system is deliberately implemented to have you spend more money than required, which was his entire point. It's predatory, and it's bullshit.
I'm not sure why you come crashing into these threads apologetically slogging the corporate phallus and their bullshit business practices. I've seen you do it for Battlefront, and it's honestly just laughable. I wouldn't be surprised if EA kept you on their payroll.
But go ahead and continue to hand wave off legitimate grievances with "hurr he's just a bumbling retard that has no idea how the industry works" if you actually want to continue reciprocating the standards that us as consumers shouldn't have to put up with.
Which is still less than what it would take to complete Reaches cosmetic armor while providing more content in that amount of time. It doesn't really matter if he says he's not good later in the video because he's using his ability as a measurement of what a good player would receive at the end of a match while doing his calculation on how long it would take to unlock everything. His calculations are just flat out wrong and he's positing them as 100% irrefutable fact.
If I "sucked on the corporate phallus" I'd be defending things like console, region, or pre-order exclusive in game content that has a tangible affect on the game or the practice of cutting up a game and selling cut pieces later for a premium. You know, stuff that actually hurts the consumer.
No, a season pass that lets you pre-order DLC for a discout price, map packs, expansions, or any other content that is not developed as part of the base game is not "cutting up and selling pieces later for a premium". Destiny is a prime example of a real case of "disk locked content" as both TDB and HoW contained content that had not only been advertised at E3 as part of the game, but were already 90% ready to go on disc and could be glitched into well before they launched.
As it stands the 60 USD (or your regional equivalent) price point for a new AAA game can not support the industry. The price for games has gone down dramatically and the demands of the consumer have risen dramatically. It requires more money to develop a game that consumers are satisfied with for AAA games than ever before so developers and publishers need to diversify revenue in order to stay afloat.
If Joe had any "legitimate grievances to hand wave" I can assure you that I wouldn't be the one hand waving them. However as it stands he's just being an entitled crybaby that thinks he's more important and knows much more than he actually does. I mean I really hate using the word entitled to describe someone, but this AAA devs should be giving away everything for free while I refuse to pay a fair price for the type of games I demand mentality can only be described as it.
Can confirm. Have 924 hours and 12 minutes on Reach. Only at 87% armor completion.

I don't get his calculations with only doing gold packs. You get everything except the legendary items with Silver, and silver takes less time to buy.

My only complaints about the game are the lack of community features and how they marketed it to be something else.
- No screenshots in Theater mode. I understand we can take screenshots with the Xbox One DVR, but it'd be nice to have them in game to share with other players, without having to navigate to their gamercard.
- No File Share. One could argue there is no need for one since there is no Forge/Screenshots, but we can still create custom gametypes. Now I have to recreate the settings entirely for a fun custom game. Not to mention this is the THIRD GAME that 343 has released that has launched limiting community sharing.
- No Spartan Company Roster. Seriously, what's the point of having these if I can't see the members in game and have to add them all anyway? We Can't even use the Spartan Company emblems. It seems it's only purpose is to have a private forum on Waypoint, which seems redundant.
- No pre/post game lobbies So now if a fileshare system does get implemented, it's practically useless unless you know the gamertag of someone. What happened to players being able to see and talk to each other? Is this a restriction implemented because of it's rating? You don't want teens possibly getting hate messages post game or something?
- No Forge/Fileshare until December Fallout 4, Black Ops 3, Battlefront, and Just Cause 3 (not to mention other games as well) all release between now and Forge's release. Does 343 really think Halo 5 is that good of a game on it's own with no community support to survive those game releases? It sure will be fun making Forge maps when a good portion of the custom games and halo community have abandoned the game already.

Just complain on Halo Waypoint and they may update it.
Or ban you.
Either or
I'm banned already, apparently for "posting in the wrong forum section". An offense which is not ban-able, mind you.

Still no reply, even though they say they will. I wonder if complaining to MS customer service would do anything, probably not though.
I'll make a thread on it, did you post that thread in the "Spartan Companies" subforum?
For the Spartan Companies issue? Nope, so you could make a post on it. For the ban? I made a post explaining it a bit in the LF GF thread. https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/forums/9fceb4d4510542b184ea2fa4833991ea/topics/lf-gf/ef649253-1935-46ed-ac27-1500eb04e7ce/posts

http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2015-10/26/darth-maul-game-aiming-for-resurrection That Darth Maul game might be coming back. Maybe 1313 will come too.
>Darth Maul game Ew. Unless it's tying up his event from the Clone Wars, no thank you. >1313 That game was still in concept development stage, and only had an E3 demo to try and draw interest. That demo is less reliable than the Watch Dogs demo. That game was no where even close to being finished when Disney gutted Lucasarts. And even before that, the game was on thin ice for using explicit material in Star Wars, which George Lucas did not want. Stormtroopers were saying "fuck" every other line, along with lots of sexual innuendos ( you see a slight smidge of it pop in the e3 demo, when the bounty hunter tells boba to "quit his bitching"). Star Wars is targeted for a 6-14 year old audience (of course, it's family friendly, so everyone likes it), and did not need that type of shit in it. Nor did it make sense with the canon. Also, George wanted it to be a about Boba, so they had to rework the entire story. That game isn't coming out anytime soon, and I hope it never does. Or if it does, it needs lots of revisions to not be the piece of shit it was setting out to be.
