I'm replaying TLoU. Such a great game.
I bought it for my PS4 when the new edition released. Great story, however I wouldn't really define it as a 'good' game. If it wasn't for the story, the gameplay and limited areas would easily get a 3/10 for me.
The gameplay is solid though. I guess you're not a fan of linear games in general by this logic.
Not really, Especially Naughty Dogs's. They make great stories, but I just can't get into the gameplay.

Because sprint isn't a Spartan Ability.
Why not? According to 343, it's something every Spartan can do like high-jacking. Sprint should be counted as a Spartan ability I think.
Because sprinting is something everyone can do. Plus it wasn't an ability in Halo 4.
Spartan Abilities =/= Armor Abilities They seem to be something everyone spawns with and can use on demand. My guess now is that this this is meter is just for Thruster Pack. Since according to 343, Master Chief has always has a built in Thruster Pack since Halo 1, but never used it, it could make sense for them to count it as a Spartan Ability. Everyone will spawn with it.

My only concern is do we descope or not? Also, what of controller layout? Usually ADS in most shooters is left trigger, but for Halo that's usually grenade. Maybe with no armor abilities, the grenade will take a position on the bumper?
It could easily stay where zoom has always been.
It could, but having ADS on stick feels weird. Felt weird in Bioshock. I dunno, guess I'll wait and see.

There seems to be a bar under the shield meter. It goes down after the guy uses his thruster pack. I would assume this is a bar for Spartan Abilities, yet it doesn't deplete when it someone is sprinting. What do you guys think?

Spoiler Seriously though, I like the additions. It doesn't change anything and is a cool ascetic design.

I was not even able to beat Cairo Station on Legendary. My friend and I tried multiple times on split screen.
Pleb. Spoiler Took me like 4 hours across 2 different play sessions when I was younger.

Because it's fuking terrible like that '08 shit.
What is your basis for these accusations?
What the hell else is there to show otherwise?
Well, you could at least expand upon your reasoning. I'm truly curious as to why you don't like it. "Because it's fuking terrible" doesn't really give me a good image in my head.
>implying people actually care about what a team of Disney marketers are declaring canon and non canon
I bet you think the prequels were actually good.
>Implying Galen Marek's story was good and should be considered canon
At the very least, Star Wars Rebels is a million times better than the shit stain on the Star Wars franchise that The Force Unleashed left behind.
lolno
The first TFU was fine storywise, the second was iffy, but could have been corrected depending on how the non-existent third game went. However iirc the only G-canon TFU game was the first which means Galen dies at the end of it.
Even if you take out TFU though that doesn't change the fact that even fucking Jedi masters were going into hiding on distant and remote planets because they'd be killed otherwise. A jedi running around like he does in his shitty CG cartoon wouldn't last a month before someone came to kill him, especially if he was openly fighting the imperial army/navy.
The new show defies canon for the sake of selling merch to children.
Kanan had not revealed that he was a Jedi until 14 years after Order 66. Until then, he was a smuggler on some backwater planet in the outer rim. Why would the Empire give a shit?
Then, once he does reveal he is a Jedi, within a couple weeks one of Vader's Imperial Inquisitors is sent to kill him, which they barely escape from.
The issue you're trying to present is nonexistent.
Because we both know he's never going to die and will continue being at large and "barely escaping" everything when he should dead 100x over by the time this show is done.
Personally, I honestly do expect him to die. He isn't at all in the OT, so his story has to be wrapped up somewhere. Obviously not in the first season, but I don't think thew crew will hold back killing off main characters in the later seasons. They didn't for Clone Wars at least.
It's fucking Disney. They people who pump out direct to DVD sequels that magicked dead people back to life. This kids show is just a merch vehicle to them and the main driving force behind declaring everything non-canon was so that they could make more profit.
Disney doesn't give a shit about continuity and if anything they'll leave his "fate" open ended by just not ever explaining what happened to him so they can bring him back for any post original trilogy shenanigans they come up with.
>Thinks that since a show is owned by Disney, it can't kill off characters or have a meaningful story

Anyone got a mirror to the removed video? Otherwise I call bullshit.
EDIT: It's up again. Well shizzle. I'm more of a fan of zoom in, but this change doesn't seem game breaking.

Cause it's bad and defies canon for the sake of selling children's merchandise.
How does it defy canon exactly? The new story team has wiped away that shit heap that was the Expanded Universe (yes, there were a few gems in the cesspool) into a "Legends" category. Anything made before March 2014, aside from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, is officially non-canon until said otherwise. Technically, it is perfectly in line with canon because there is nothing there for it to defy in the first place.

So? They gave good reviews for Halo as well. Call of Duty isn't a BAD game, it's just repetitive and has a shitty community. No different than if the Super Mario Bros' community was as shit as CoD's community.
