Obviously I am going to watch it, even if it is retarded. Disney just sucks.
You watching it wouldn't be canon.
Well it is already not canon. I am fine with watching stuff from Disney's alternate timeline though, I watched TCW. I prefer the actual canon stories, but alternate timelines can sometimes be fun.

Noelle pls

Despite that retarded lightsaber and Disney ditching the EU, there are still some redeeming factors with the film

[urlhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_The_Force_Awakens[/url]

Quote
Abrams directed the film from a screenplay he co-wrote with Lawrence Kasdan, co-writer of the original trilogy films The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi.

Arbrams fired that guy for trying to stick too close to the EU story, so you can shove that fact back up your ass.

Yeah, I'll give it a chance, why wouldn't I? It's fucking Star Wars. It's been great for the last 37 years, it'll be great 37 more.

Serious / Re: Religion and it's place in classrooms
« on: December 01, 2014, 06:30:23 PM »
world religion is important to general education, so long as it is covered in an as close to an unbiased way as possible. It doesn't belong in the science class, ever.

I had a classmate who didn't know that there were other religions besides Christianity. She also found out that I was Atheist *fedora tipping intensifies* and was convinced I was an agent of Satan sent to Earth to corrupt people.

Honestly, I wonder what the fuck her parents taught her.

What's your opinion on it?

I personally think children should be taught the basis of the major religions and how they play into today's world, as well as provide some background history for culture. Other than that, I think it should stay out of core classes. People can choose to take a religion course if they so desire.

I'm really not.
You might still be saved.

From this crappy new Star Wars canon? No thanks.

I'd rather die loving "Knights of the Old Republic", The Jedi Knight Series, and the EU that got wiped out.
I meant that you are not yet lost, Rocketmang. Praise Katarn for this.

Oh, well I can agree with Kye Katarn's amazingness.
I wouldn't give him divinity, but he is basically Chuck Norris.
I will have to install those games for the first time in at least a decade. Except the Jedi Knight II Outcast one. That shit sucked, I could never figure out how to get through that first level. Whoever designed that should be shot.

>Can't get past first level of Outcast
>Making fun of a 7 year old for not being able to get through a poorly designed game.

>Blaming being shit on perfectly fine level design
>Suggesting that despite everyone else complaining about the game, that a 7 year old spending 30 minutes trying to figure out wtf he's supposed to do single-handedly makes that person shit.

Git gud

Your defense is 30 years of canon cannot be wiped away. So 31 years from now, will you then accept Disney canon, since it will have existed as canon longer?

PSVita is great if you're really into weebshit, otherwise it's not really worth it

Littlebigplanet and Uncharted were fun. Not $300 worth though. Good thing I got mine at a yard sale.

I liked the PSVita.

PSP all the way though. Medieval: Resurrection was the shit.

I like it too. Just when it released, it costed more than a new PS3 and have no game support for over a year. Microsoft could easily top that, no problem.

A snippet of Battlefront footage would make me  :) Or maybe a new Star Wars game revealed.

Bioware is making an "open world Star Wars game"

Bioware, plz

Will this be canon? Just to make Noelle mad.

All new games and novels are canon unless said otherwise. So it probably will be.
