It was just my bluntness and the way I said it, it was really awkward. I just shouldn't have said it like I did. 47768

I get that the 3DS has different technical limitations than the GameCube or Wii, but cmon. The whole draw of the Smash Bros series is being able to play as a wide variety of Nintendo characters. The full game comes out on October 3rd. It's gonna have like, 40+ characters. 47769

I feel like I started this whole debacle so I ought to expound on my statements a bit...
No, it's not okay to spread nude photos of anyone around if the person in the photos wanted them private. But in the year 2014, if you're not smart enough to keep that shit off of easily hack-able devices, I mean, you're just too fucking stupid to live in this era. You really just are. And I have no sympathy for anyone who's gonna do something that skanky and disgusting. 47770
Serious / Re: Ask an anti-natalist anything.« on: September 13, 2014, 01:34:42 PM »I always find it interesting because the basic concept is so alien, but that aside - What brought you to this stance? A detailed path would be appreciated, I obviously won't be able to read it right away but I'll be looking forwards to reading it as soon as possible >.>I feel like I've already answered this, sort of, in a previous question, but I suppose I'll add a little more gory detail. I used to be a fan of The Amazing Atheist many years ago. Then he made those dumb rape comments towards that alleged rape victim (telling her to "drown in rape semen" and shit) and I stopped following him for some time. There's just some things you don't... say to another person. He's since apologized for the comments, but whatever, I still think he's a raving douchebag, and not the entertaining kind that he trains himself to be. After that era, he's always had this weird tirade against feminism (I guess it's not all that weird. The Internet at large hates neo-feminism), and one of the videos he made during that time was called Failure of Feminism, which was a video I agreed with up to a point. Now, different storyline. I hear this name mentioned a couple times in TJ's older videos—"Inmendham" or something similar. Apparently he's a major detractor, always making response videos violently criticizing him, calling him the "supervillain" or some sort. I'm intrigued by this guy just because of how often his name comes up, the fact that I've never seen him before, and hell, he sounds kinda cool. But I didn't know how to spell his name at the time. It was around this time when I discovered a YouTuber named straightd0pe, someone who also makes response videos to YouTube ranters, but he never shows his face. Just voiceovers and images he steals from Google. They're pretty good responses, he's a little snarky, but one of the videos he removed from his channel, I ended up finding reuploaded on Encyclopedia Dramatica. It was towards another ranter I used to watch by the name of Mannix the Pirate, who fell out insanely over the last year. Anyway, in one of the clips straightd0pe used in his response, Mannix uses that name again, Inmendham. The thing about Mannix the Pirate is that he really enunciates his words sometimes for comedic effect, kinda like Heath Ledger's Joker. It could be said he was trying to copy Heath Ledger's Joker. Anyway, because of how weirdly Mannix said it, I surmised how to spell the name and I searched it up on YouTube at last. Inmendham—YouTube philosopher with over four thousand videos across his fifteen or something channels, half of which are on his main channel alone. The average length of which is about fifteen to twenty minutes. Holy SHIT, what did I just walk myself into?... The first video I saw of his was in response to The Amazing Atheist's Failure of Feminism video. I watched as he carefully and vituperatively picked apart the video, almost sentence by sentence. I've never seen TJ get "owned" so badly in a video before, and I noticed TJ never responded to this, or even allowed it as a response to his video (when that was still a thing). The guy made sense, he was making arguments, and he was entertaining as all fuck to listen to. I had to watch more. I soon discovered that this guy is an anti-natalist, someone who doesn't want the perpetuation of the human race to continue. This was an interesting premise, and I've always been a misanthrope, so I payed him a listen when talking about these ideas. Everything he says makes sense to me. Like, everything. I've never agreed with someone so much before—and, obviously, there are times when I don't quite agree with him, but regardless, I basically found myself a new favorite YouTuber. Someone to follow, someone to listen to. And that's how I became an anti-natalist. I found an anti-natalist on YouTube on a whim, and I just so happened to agree with 90% of what he was saying. Sorry, I just realized that was perhaps the most boringly inconsequential story ever, but you asked for it, so... Like, no, nothing tragic in my life lead me to this philosophy, I didn't come up with it myself. It was taught to me. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, it's just... a boring story to listen to, I'd wager. 47771

I mean, how much of this wealth of information do you actually take advantage of in your free time?
Probably not a goddamn thing, if I can make an assumption. That goes for all of us. And 90% of the population. Most of us only look up stuff when we need it for one specific temporary task, and then we forget the info forever. But it's okay, because we can just look it up again!... It's insidious. 47786
