So making the overall experience more immersive isn't "playing games properly"? You're not making it more immersive. If you think it's more immersive, then you're REALLY not playing the game properly. Mods by their very nature kill immersion. They break the game's lore (there is no such thing as a lore-friendly mod), and when the lore is broken, the immersion is broken. You're not playing the game anymore; you're playing a ruined parody of the game. Your own shitty version of the game. ...I fucking hate FPS games, so I can certainly live without CounterStrike. Besides, if you're making a whole new game through modification, that's a different story. Graphic mods break the lore. That's not how the game was designed. Play it right. "Intent" was perhaps not the proper word. If Rockstar wanted the graphics to be better, then they should have made the graphics better. 90% of indie games are shitty and 99% of all indie game developers are idiots, so I don't give a fuck about indie games.

I just like playing games properly and as they were intended to be played, is all.

That would actually give you all the more right to talk...
I mean, doing it is dumb, but being able to admit that isn't.

Damn, this is a lot better organized than most honest opinion threads. I was gonna say, that's the only thing that compelled me to post...

No, but it ought to.
I don't know if it should happen when you report a thread, but being able to hide threads would be dandy.

This is such a weird question. Eating would probably be the last thing on my mind.

And if you think I'm being over-dramatic, you just told me you're a hedonist, so I can only imagine you do a whole fuckton of other stupid fucking shit.

I feel like how very wrong you are about something is a demonstrable, quantifiable measure. In other words, a fact.
A lifestyle choice is never objectively wrong. I'm a hedonist. Life is meant to be enjoyed, not meant to have every last year squeezed out of it.
And I'm practically an ascetic. So, shit. I mean, I really don't ever indulge myself in anything I want to do; I'm always doing what I have to in order to achieve a position where I can afford to indulge myself. I don't even play video games anymore, hardly. The only indulgence I truly partake in is meat-eating, but still, only then, I aim to stop that, and I still only ever eat when I have to. So from my perspective, looking down, I really have to wonder how shitty your life must be—and granted, those who are addicted obviously have it a lot worse—but even those who are so passé and cavalier about their shit life choices are really fucking pitiful to me. As if it's all that hard to do the smart thing instead of the thing you really want to do. I feel sorry for you. But you don't wanna live past forty anyway. Well, shit, if you're gonna smoke, I hope you do become addicted, I hope you do manage to live past forty, and when you finally do die, I hope it's excruciating. I actually don't know. But the sooner people like you die, the less hair I'll have to pull out. Because it's people like you who are so stuck in their ways that they really just are pathetic and ought to get exactly what they claim to want.

I always thought it made sense to discourage the voluntary harming of oneself. Personally. Oh, and I will. I don't intend to live past 40, anyway. ...why?
The fuck? Life is for the young. Don't have any desire to be an old man. Also, that philosophy lets me do the self-damaging things I so love to do.
This is probably the stupidest thing you've ever said, by the way.

If you are being an idiot, I am going to call you an idiot. I do not do these things for no reason. You are bringing up a completely irrelevant topic and tried to be an asshole in the same post. Calling you an idiot was completely warranted. To be fair, this is the type of logic that gets me banned everywhere I go. The main difference here is that Sentra's impugning your character maliciously, which is worse than any petty insult. Just keeping us honest...
